would it be funny if toronto misses playoffs this year?
toronto lost again today 97-94 at miami today and chicago won 110-103, they are now just half a game behind raptors for the east final playoff spot; if toronto misses the playoffs and bulls take their spot this year I am almost surely certain bosh will be unhappy and will leave the team to a much better team? guys root for toronto to miss the playoffs and chicago to make it so that it increases the likelihood that bosh will leave them

raptors have lost 7 of their last 10 games and do not appear to get any better, they are struggling to the finishing line, the bulls are 35-38, while the raptors are 35-37, bulls are much better going 4-6

Bulls also have an easier remaining schedule.

Even with Bosh, the Raptors are not goin anywhere. They might as well let Bosh leave and use the money to sign another star player and build the team around the newly signed star and Bargnani.

As for Bosh, isn't it he already said he want to be a franchise player and don't want to play second banana to another superstar? Where can he sign? I wouldn't spend my max money on a player that is so soft and fail to carry his decent team into the playoffs.

So my 2 cents, Bosh will sign with Raptors and whine the organisation doesn't get him some help for the next 5 years!

Bosh is very overrated. Can't carry his team to a playoff berth in the leastern conference. I would not even trade Scola straight up for him. Scola is a winner who hustles and just wants to win.

I agree that bosh doesn't have the mentality to be the #1 guy on a team but I don't agree with what you say about Scola. especially the 'winner' part, based on our record he's far from the player that can carry a team to the playoffs.

Al Jefferson, Brooke Lopez, Kevin Love, Eric Gordon, Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, OJ Mayo are players who have never carried thier team to the playoffs. It doesnt mean they are bad players.

The Toronto team is just poorly built. They have no players capable of playing any defense. They have given bad contracts to poor players. Thier coach sucks as well as thier GM. Putting all of Torontos faults on Bosh is dumb, especially if we want him here as A piece and not THE piece.

Seriously? You're actually bringing up Lopez, Love, Gordon, Mayo, and M. Gasol to try to prove your point? Aren't they all in their second years?

It doesn't matter what your point is. Your reasoning fails.

Regardless he's leaving Toronto he's probaly going to Miami unless he decides to go to Pheniox if Stoudimire opts out.

Bosh is overrated, but he is the absolute perfect complement to our team (and more specifically Yao).

Bosh and Bargnani is a terrible C/PF duo. Neither plays solid defense, and both like to shoot from the outside.

Ever since we got Yao, we haven't been able to pair him up with the athletic complement that we desired. Someone who can cover up for his weakside shot-blocking (Cato, Eddie Griffin), someone who shoots the open jumper (Scola), someone who can cut to the basket to take advantage of Yao double teams (Landry), and someone who can negate some of the athletic length that kills us when we need a rebound.

    Chris Bosh is all that.

What Chris Bosh is not is a guy who has the mass to stop the elite post options in the NBA, ie. Duncan, Howard, really any true scoring center. He is perfect for the Pau Gasols, the KG's, the other similarly tall and athletic forwards who have eaten us alive for years.

He is also not a true post player. He loves to face up and take his man off the dribble and use his quickness to beat his man or cut hard off the pick-roll.

With Chris Bosh and Yao, we would instantly have the best complementary (and best period) frontcourt in the league. If we keep Scola, this vaults us to the best frontcourt rotation period.

While we would be instant contenders, the next question would be, can we be the favorites?

IMO, the answer is no. Our Backcourt would remain simply not good enough to really say that we are better than the Lakers. Kobe, Artest and Odom are still miles better than anything we can put out there.

However, in a series against them, we would be damn close in talent, and that extra bit of Rockets heart just might put us over the top.

I am 85% certain Bosh will leave, regardless of what happens this season in Toronto.

If they miss the playoffs i will laugh Wholeheatedly.

they shouldve never let triano be a long term coach, BC should have never given contracts to no-defence calderon and pizza pizza Hedo, and most of all, they drafted a Euro softie in Bargnani that cant rebound or play defence for ****.

I would never watch them if there's another NBA team in Canada..

    and f bargnani..

They meant via sign and trade, pretty much understood it's the only way to see him in a Rox uniform.
