What if JVG is banned?

    If Sterns makes good on his threat to ban JVG for life or sit him down for a year can you see any scenario where Uncle Phil comes to town? If so, who would he bring with to play and who would coach Yao. This is probably premature; but, it is an interesting scenario, isn't it. How would TMac and Yao perform in the triangle?

    We already know Uncle Phil likes teams where all the building blocks are close to being there.

    I don't think there is any way Houston can avoid signing Phil Jackson if JVG is banned. Phil will just show up and start knocking on our windows asking us to let him in. He's got to be salivating over the thought of coaching TMac and Yao.

    David Stern would have a serious lawsuit on his hands, and would severely damage the image of the league if he pulled anything like that. Even Stern isn't that stupid.

    JVG won't be sitting out a whole year. At the most maybe 20 games if he doesn't show enough remorse to Stern.
