    that's not what i asked. i asked WHAT IF. hey, u.s. got bronze the last olympic. i know it won't happen either (am for u.s.!). i just wonder how many in here are a player's fan or team's fan.

    It's pretty much impossible. China has a microscopic chance to win the Gold. The US and China are in the same group and will face each other in group play. If Yao could dominate and take one game from the US, that would pretty much solidify him as the best player in the World because the Chinese team is nowhere near as talented or chemistry-laden as the Euro/Argentinian teams that have defeated the US in the past.

    What do you mean player's fan or team's fan? Does it make any difference on how we think about Yao if he beats the US? Team's fan? This is a HOUSTON FREAKING ROCKETS fan board!!!! Not team USA fan board!!!!

    Again, this is stupid.
