Why can't we just trade it to one of those really crappy teams that always loses.... We would have a better chance of getting a higher pick next year, and I don't think we will make the playoffs next year..... I could be wrong because its too early to tell but as far as big men go, I don't like what our prospects are. I think that we should trade the pick for a potential lottery pick next year if and only if we cannot get Swift, Fizer, or Martin.

I think Guards are too risky this draft and next year would have a better crop of big men. I also think Swift will pull out after the Clippers pick him.

It makes more sense to trade the pick and hopefully move up. Number 9 really sucks.

    Just a note-
Swift has to pull out by June 21st, after that he is in the draft for good (June 28th) and could only pull out of a Clippers situation by doing what Francis did last year and refusing to play.

You would really have to find a stupid team to do that just based on the fact that most picks are lottery protected. The Suns got lucky when they got a lottery pick from the Mavericks in the Steve Nash trade.
