    1. TMac and Yao make the best duo in the association. I can't think of any other two players who I would take over them for either the short or long term.

    2. We have a point guard in Alston who takes care of the ball... who makes the correct pass almost every single time... and who is quick enough to stay in front of Stevie and other quick points in the league.

    3. We have a great collection of shooters that we are able to surround Yao and TMac with in Wesley, Barry, and Anderson. While their shots might not be falling now... they have shown over their career that they can and will consistently make open js.

    4. I love the combination of offensive and defensive skills that Yao, Deke, Howard and Swift bring to the ROX. Outside of DET and SAN... I don't know if I would trade this unit for any other unit in the NBA.

    5. Van Gundy is our coach. He will get her done. It might take a while for use to get our act together... but his system works... and he will get the best from each and every player on the roster.

So... how about we stop our whining a bit?!

    Finally a positive thread!!

A lot of blame is being passed onto Yao too, granted he is the go to guy right now. I think of this as an adjustment period for the Rox offense. Good thing is that once TMac comes back he will be able to solidify what the team has been able to accomplish during his absence.

Lastly Rafer Alston is looking pretty good. I specifically like the fact that he makes shots within the offense, I cannot remember him really forcing any shots. Even the last layup he missed was just an unfortunate roll, I say 9 out of 10 time that is 2 pts. And same goes for yao, if he continues to put pressure on the defense he will knock down those point blank shots.

Most important thing for the Rox players to do right now is stay strong and play through this offensive slump. They need to support each other, and not let anyones confidence drop too far.

I think Head is looking great too, I just hope he gets some real playing time and we can develope him into a great PG along side Rafer when Sura is gone for good.

    there's still hope!

We know T-mac and Yao can contribute. We will just have to wait for other guys to improve.DA can learn the offense.wesley still is our perimeter stopper no matter how bad his shot is right now.rafer is doing well.jon is jon.deke is deke.howard is howard.i think stro will be the x-factor.if he does well in the coming weeks or months,we won't have look no further for a garnett, amare or duncan.

Just being more optimistic than others doesn't make anyone more of a "true fan" than anyone else. The season isn't over yet and it's good this is happening now instead of during the stretch run. When our full roster plays about 20 consecutive games together we will know what kind of team we have. Sura coming back could also be a wild card, but (in my mind) I've counted him out.

I'm disappointed but I'm not worried. When you lose someone of t-mac's impact there is bound to be a huge drop off until the team can adjust. Both games have been extremely sloppy but in no way was the game decided until near the end. Working in a new rotation is going to take more than just 2 games and working in 2 new starters is very difficult as well too.

I'm just glad we weren't blown out or anything. We're still respectable and I believe this will be a good experience for the team as a whole and especially Yao as an individual.

Great post. I love that we're three games into the season and people are already running scared. Had our shooters been able to drain some shots last night, it could've easily turned into a blowout. Instead, they were ice cold and the Magic were able to deny the passes into Yao without having to worry about anyone hitting the outside shot. That will not happen every game, nor will we be without Tracy for too long.

On a positive note, our defense looked great last night. I also thought Luther Head played with confidence while he was in there, which is great for a rookie. Swift looked like he was getting a clue as well.

    We'll be fine.
