    "We appreciate everything you do"

.....And I wish to put extra gold star on 'We'

The source is David Schippers New York Times bestseller 'Sell Out', copyright 2000,...page 130 in the trade version.

Oh,... I'd also like to add that Mr. Schippers is lifelong Democrat.:p

Truth, I recall reading some of your prior posts, which generally consisted of wild-eyed, foaming at the mouth, anti-clinton rants.

If you want to debate issues, that's ok, and if yo want to spout junk like this, that's cool and all too, but save it for your next militia meeting.

Guys...doesn't the Juanita Broderick story carry a bit more credibility than you're giving it? The lady claimed to be raped.

    black helicopters? conspiracy theories??

anytime anyone questions the clintons someone says, "yeah...and the black helicopters are coming too." yet many of these same folks are telling us how the government had this big plan to fabricate evidence of WMD.

    Who cares!

I'd rather know what "the voices" whisper to The Truth to make him continually post bullsh*t. Much more interesting.

First, do you have any idea of the sums of money and the lengths to which the Clinton Hate Machine went to dig up stupid dirt like this garbage? I suggest you read David Brock's book, Blinded by the Right, if you want to understand the lengths to which people went to discredit Clinton. He should know, he was one of them.

Second, don't you think that the Starr investigation, which investigated pretty much every single allegation about the Clintons ever made by any nut with a bone to pick, would have prosecuted this if they found anything remotely worthwhile?

Come on, Max, you are smarter than this. Do you really want us to engage him in a discussion of forensic evidence gathered from the pages of the Birch society newsletter and the ballistics of the Vince Foster suicide bullet? Even if this guy really believes this, its obvious he's not interested in doing anything other than ranting.

The WMD issue is apples and oranges; I don't really feel ike explaining why because I thinks its pretty obvious.

maybe you're right...i don't know...i'm just disturbed by the instantaneous reaction...i suppose the way others are concerned by the "don't ever question your government" approach they perceive from the administration.

my understanding is that the woman has told her story and i've yet to read her being debunked other than someone to say, "it didn't happen." a recent book on clinton from an ex-pilot of air force one says clinton once groped an air force officer aboard the plane. given clinton's weaknesses, i don't doubt it. i'm not convinced it happened, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least. his character is not exactly one that inspires confidence.

I'm willing to bet that if I devoted an equal amount of time and money to it as has been to Clinton dirt digging , I could find some chick who was inappropriately handled by GWB, back in his drunk driving, coke using days. But does a left wing version of the "Arkansas project" exist? no, thank god, so we won't ever hear about it.

juanita wasn't turned up by the starr investigation...just to make that clear. she came out on her own...

gwb was not governor of a state in his drunk driving days. clinton was governor when juanita claims he raped her.

Max...you know I am no Clinton supporter, and am still puzzled and pissed that people miss the point about his crime; not sex, perjury.

That said, I don't get the purpose or point of this thread...

i don't know what the original point was...i did read the story the other day that hillary confronted juanita at some fundraiser or something and said, "we appreciate all you do for us," or something like that. he may have just been sharing that story to begin with, originally.

    1. so? they didn't investigate it? Most accounts seem to indicate that they did investigate this and much of the other stuff that was dug up from those years and aired as gospel by the anti clinton crowd, and pretty much found it all to be of dubious value.

    2. so? that's a pretty artificial line to draw.

I don't think you’d have too look too hard to find many inappropriate actions in Curious George's past, but I think you're way off base to dismiss Billy's treatment of women as the figment of some overzealous Clinton's bashers imagination or an overblown innocent encounter.

Inappropriate advances towards women have been one of Clinton's greatest weaknesses. This is a serious matter and should not be dismissed with the 'she probably wanted it anyway' defense. It doesn't mean Clinton was a worse president than Bush, or that Bush does not have failings of his own. But there are too many instances to simply dismiss. And his whole "that woman" TV address was extremely distasteful. Harassment in the workplace and abuse of privilege is real, and it appears Clinton was regularly guilty of it. Possibly this is Clinton's only fault, but, none the less it is a fault and I find frustrating when it is completely dismissed by many.

I guess maybe its just a defense against the left/right posturing, and possibly some feel that admitting one unsavory aspect of a man's character might be implying support for someone who is possibly more unsavory. I think you can fully support Clinton's political ideals, accomplishments as president, vision for the country, and still be deeply concerned and disheartened by his attitudes and actions with regard to harassment.

I wish more Democrats and Lib’s would call him out on this.

I'm not a big fan of the Clintons, I'm an even lesser fan of the right-wingers like Richard Mellon-Scaife, but David Brock has just about zero credibility. He's told too many half-truths, contradictory statements, & outright lies to be taken at face value.
