what head crap is the most disgusting in your opinion?

Considering the entire basis of my life for the past 5 years has been learning about the biological source and function of said goos and crusties, I'm not really grossed out by any of it anymore.

That being said, I can't stand it when my kids at school have snot running down their face and I can't stand cleaning eye goop off of my dogs faces when need be.

 

SNOT for sure. It is the dirtiest by far. The eye crap is just normal buildup.

yeah, i think i'd taste a zit (why am i discussing this?) before freakin' ear wax. a little pus vs nasty, gooey stuff in your ear?

and snot ends up in your mouth from time to time if your nose is really running and it's never had any real weird taste to me. not that i like it getting in there, but it's not the end of the world. i mean, isn't snot what a loogie is?

 

I guess it comes from what you did as a child. snot and ear wax is more readily available when you are 3 yrs old, compared to zits. By the time you are in your teens you are wise enough to know such things are disgusting so you never attempt to eat your zits... so, it's relatively more gross than snot or ear wax, which a lot of kids taste when young... Well, that's my theory anyway. I have definitely tasted snot and have seen many kids picking, looking at the findings in shock/interest and having a taste!

 

OK, so when I was a certain age, maybe I liked the taste. (snot - admit it, some of you did too. As long as you're not still doing it.) And it is sort of the same as a loogie because of that little passageway connecting the back of your nose with the back of your throat. Think about it the next time you're sick and trying to clear those passages any way you can.

I cannot believe I'm posting about this. Why are we talking about this? Because it's 4 in the morning?

 

Aren't we all supposed to have snot in our throats anyway? I don't enjoy the taste, but there's nothing like hocking a pond-sized loogie from several stories up.

 

I can't believe it either. I'm just bored at work... I do have lots to do, I've been so lazy the past week or so!

 

People who are eating should be warned not to read this thread.

Well, earwax is a natural bug repellant, so at least it serves a purpose. Snot is valuable for it's entertainment value alone.

This thread definitely should be a multi part series. So many bodily fluids, so little time...

 

No wonder it tastes horrible.

snot? salty, but it depends on its variation, gooey is hard to manage but goes down easy like phlegm. boogers have more chew in them so the salty taste is released in the bite.
ear wax? really bitter taste and unique on its own. Its gross but I...can't...stop....eating it...
eye crusties? just hardened tears, so salty but more liquid than phlegm. If you can lick the tears off of your enemy after making them cry, crusties should be no problem.
teeth plaque? you probably eat an ounce of it every day anyway, so whats the big deal?
toungue goo (the white stuff on the top)? same as above, except you probably swap more of it with your significant other.
zits? doesn't really have any taste to it, unless you get some blood at the end.
blackheads? oily but also tasteless, even the big ones when you bite into it. You'd think they at least would taste like sesame seeds, but no.
