I've had: A bowl haircut A mullett An undercut A middle-part A side part (to the right) Slicked back And now I'm back with the middle-part. ------------------ Homer Simpson: "I'm gonna tell you 3 things that will haunt you for the rest of your life! Crew (sp?) cut during the early years Part on the right with this horrible pompadore thing going in the junior high years. Part down the middle (the Zack look from Saved by the Bell) during Freshman and Sophomore years. Then I found something that worked, I shaved my head, that lasted until I was out of HS. Then I spiked my hair and colored it red for a while until this last March, probably my best style was the red spikes, but I think I damaged my hair then so it had to be changed. Now I've got this mop look going for me with some blonde and brown mixed in (I'm afraid to touch my hair after damaging it, so I just let the roots show) Right now, I have blue hair dye sitting inside my bathroom and it will be used someday. When? I have no clue, but it will be used someday... ------------------ Have no fear kiddies, the name's changed, but the Mobster is still the same... I had short hair until I was about 17 and started growing it out. I didn't cut it ONCE for about 5 years and it got to about the middle of my back. I continued to let it grow until it reached my lower back about 2 years ago. Last year, in a fit of change, I whacked it off up to my shoulders and even layered it a bit. It had been one length for a long time. Now it is down around my shoulder blades but about time for a trim. If I ever start to see it fall out, I swear I will just shave it all off. ------------------ How the hell should I know why God would allow the Holocaust. Yeah, yeah, yeah....I said that too. Just wait....I've still got mine (what's left of it). ------------------ It looks like a veteran can Be had.
Went blonde once. And I did have more success with women. Did it for about a year and a half. My co-workers freaked. To me it was normal cause I was a natural blonde when I was young. Then something went terribly wrong.... ------------------ humble, but hungry.
geez, when I was a kid, I didn't give a darn about my hair. But now, I'm in the mirror constantly. I currently have a fade, though I struggle with what length I can keep it. Yall are lucky you don't have Asian hair. It's very coarse, straight, and thick. Bad comination. BTW, I color my hair and I think women do find it more attractive. It brings out my features, people tell me.. ------------------ "norm, would you like to buy an indian scalp ? This deal isn't gonna make or break me Norm, so don't jerk me around." Shaved my head bald for 4 years Grew about 2 inches of hair just on top for another 2 years Grew the top to 8 inches and formed it into a fro-ish/pouffy combo for 8 months and cut it short again 3 months ago. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams and Lisa Malosky fan club. atheistalliance.org
I used to have the side part . . . the changes came in how I combed the hair from the part. See, I have REALLY, REALLY thick hair, and it is difficult to deal with. Up until I was about 11, I just side parted it, and that was that. My hair poofed up, but on the whole it was fairly normal. Then when I was 11, for some reason I decided I was gonna plaster it down (i don't know why), so I'd use gel or mousse or whatever, and my hair would be so flat against my scalp, it was like Hitler-ish. But finally, I just decided to go natural again, and combed it normal side part, and it puffed up like normal. After Soph. yr of HS, I decided to part it middle and I've done so ever since. I just comb it back on the sides, and it parts itself in the middle. Thing is, my hair is really annoying. the front of it used to curl in, so the very front hair would curl into the part. It was horrible; I'd try to keep it back, but it wouldn't stop curling inwards. I looked like such a dork when it would do that. And I don't use hair stuff because it makes my hair really, really oily. If I use hair gel for one day, my hair will be oily for a week afterwards. Even though I wash it daily. Eventually, the inward curling stopped, and now I just comb it back, and it falls into place. My hair doesn't grow very quickly, so I can go for 2 or so months without cutting it -- when I go too long, it curls up at the ends. I have a baseball card of George Brett from 1985, and when I wear a hat (with the long hair), and it curls up, I look EXACTLY like him. Oh, my hair is blond, and it gets lighter and darker periodically. Lately it's gotten lighter. Out of curiosity, where do you all get your haircut? I get mine cut at a barber shop in San Antonio from a guy I met at a Diamond Shamrock. Julian's Barber Shop on North Military. $6. I used to get it cut at Rio's Golden cut (4.95), but it really was pretty bad. Val and Julian do a great job though. If you're in SA and need a haircut, drop on by there. It's 610 and North Military I think. ------------------ CC.net's most courteous driver Oh yeah, and I'm looking for a job right now, so hire me please
This reminds me of the Seinfeld where Elaine dates the guy who shaves his head. She gets him to grow his hair back, and he finds out he's going bald. ------------------ CC.net's most courteous driver Oh yeah, and I'm looking for a job right now, so hire me please
I had the mullet way back in HS, also combed to the side, but the past (sheesh) 12 years I've had it shaved on the side with just a little on top (similar but not exactly like a "crew cut"). I've also cut my own hair for 11 of those past 12 years. I've saved bundles on hair cuts. I've only bought three pair of clippers in that time. ------------------ DREAMer's Rocket Page
Let's see... I had the standard "my mom cuts my hair and leaves my front all lopsided" cut as a little kid... Then, I had a "surf cut" Then, I had a "surf cut" hybrid thing with my hair spiked at the part... Then I had this gelled stiking up thing, hard to explain...not spiked, not a flat-top...almost like Brad Pitt in that 1/2 animation movie... Then just a regular cut... then shaved close for most of highschool, sometimes growing it out a little and spiking it all... Then grew it out for a while, just longer on top, close on sides, but no line or anything... Then dyed it red for a while and "flamed" it on top... Then shaved it again, as I have it now...alternate between really close and just close shaves -- never bald, though. ------------------ Squatting on old bones and excrement and rusty iron, in a white blaze of heat, a panorama of naked idiots stretches to the horizon. I recently got a crazy haircut that changed me completly. My hair was like Ricky Martin style when he had it all long. I grew it out for a while but then 2 days ago I said **** it, I shaved it off. I let it grow for about 8 years, it was down to the crack of my...well it was damn long! Long hair is so much trouble and when it got that long, all I did was keep it in a long braid. I cut it Clark Kent style for a while and eventually, got sick of that crap, ya know combing it and such. Its been buzzed for almost 2 years now and its the best, low maintenance, cheapest cut yet. I bought some clippers and buzz it every 4 days. ------------------ This space left intentionally blank...
You know how some white people say that black people are scary? Well, I can verify that that phrase isn't the least bit racist. At lest in my case. In 8-9th grade, I tried to grow my hair out. I ended up with the scariest-looking fro anyone could imagine. Damn, it was bad. So I got cornrows, but my girlfriend said I looked to ghetto. So I took care of the problem. I shaved my head. Baldees get the chicks, they really do. ------------------ The media's Eddie Griffin NBA Draft player profile before he landed in the Rockets hands: What he does: He was second in the nation in blocked shots and fifth in rebounds as a freshman last season; has good shooting range and even had a triple-double. Reminds people of: Antawn Jamison What he would do for his team: He could play either forward spot and runs the floor. He'll give his team a valuble inside scoring threat. The media's review of the Rocket's draft after they got Eddie Griffin: I'd give their draft a B. Sure, Griffin was highly touted but his behavior and attitude can be a chemistry wrecker. Needs to bulk up more. Not exactly NBA-ready. Not the best choice for Houston. It's very sad. The "wonderfully talented prospect" one second, but the moment the media learns he'll be a Houston Rocket, it's criticize-o-rama.
