Alright....we all know about the draft, and the possibilty of strengthening our team with the #4-5 pick, and hopefully Toronto's #14-15 pick (if they win their last game). I am sure we've also thought about our possibilities of trading certain players on our squad and / or draft picks for veterans such as Odom, or Lewis in the off season. I am wondering, however, what unrestricted free agents will be available for the Rockets to entertain this offseason? By unrestricted free agents, I mean that their deals are up and they can freely shop themselves to other teams without those teams having to give any kind of compensation to sign them. Could we even sign anyone with our cap space now or is the thought of free agent signing out of the question for the Rocks? We can't cut players with big contracts b/c we'd still have to pay them parts, if not all of their remaining contracts, nonetheless, would we have to trade them for restricted free agents in a sign-and-trade deal, so we would have enough $$$ for a new player? What's the dealy yo?
The deal is by signing Taylor and Norris and trading for sorry ass Rice, the only way we could get a free agent would b sign and trade. Taylor,Norris,Cato and Rice are killing our cap and will be until we can find a way to unload basically 4 mediocre players. Thats the dealio
