    With Nikola being 28 years old, I would say he's on pace to match Hakeem in regards to the all-star and all-nba selections. Hakeem is a better defender and Nikola is a better passer.

    Would you value a team achievement like rings since Hakeem has more (especially in this rings culture environment) or an individual achievement like mvp since Nikola more?

    Born 30 years before and play in the same Era. Go head to head with Hakeem. Then I'd say he's better.

    Two separate conversations need to be had IMO.

    Who currently ranks higher on the made up “greats” list? It’s still Hakeem but only because Jokic has so much more career in front of him.

    Second conversation is just simply who was the better basketball player? That answer is Jokic. Jokic’s peak (right now) is the best big man we’ve ever seen IMO. How long he can keep this peak (or whether or not he can raise it even more) will decide where he ranks all time.

    I try to look at this stuff with as little emotion as possible… I think when you take emotion out, it’s pretty easy.

    Hakeem had 85% of the impact of Jokic on offense. He had 400% of Jokic's impact on defense.

    I love Jokic but I don’t think he matches up well with the pantheon of all time great centers.

    Hakeem won a title with 4 other guys who were at the "Aaron Gordon level" of talent. It is amazing.

    To play with a Michael Porter Jr or Jamal Murray was a fantasy for Hakeem.
    Even Clyde was over the hill his first season in Htown.
