What Does Google Think About Chris Bosh and Houston?

He would be perfect for the Rockets. If Yao goes down (unlikely, contract year), slide him to center and you still have enough talent to win.

I hope Google is right on this.

I like the idea, but googles results are area based, in Miami and Chicago they get different results. But I like seeing it nonetheless

 

Bosh is a heck of a player, but the more I think about this deal, the less sure I am that it's the right move. Bosh would be an upgrade from Scola, but Scola is a good PF and an upgrade at the PF position is not our most pressing need. I see Scola being like a Vlade Divac, in that he will be able to play well into his mid-30s. The salary increase for Bosh, plus the other assets we would have to give up would probably be too steep for me. We have a lot of assets to use to upgrade this team, but I would rather go after:

-a center who could split time with Yao and rebound/block shots. Some offense to go with it would be nice.

-a pure point guard who can get double-digit assists.

-a high percentage outside shooter.

The thought of getting Bosh is exciting, and I have no doubt that he would improve the team, but I think we can get more for what we have to offer.
