Mike in DA makes me turn off the radio, regardless of what station he's on.

There are others, but Mike in DA called John and Lance all the time when they were on 610, and then for a while recently but I think he just went back to 610 for good.

Then there's Aggie Doug, he'll call all 3 shows on 1560 pretty much every day.

I stick to email if anything.

 

Yeah there's a guy name "Joe" that's been calling into everyshow on the same day at 1560. I try not to be "That guy". Once or twice a week is more than enough.

 

I can't remember...is Mike in Dairy Ashford the black guy (technically just a guess!) that always seems to be yelling into the phone?

If so, I turn off the radio every time as well.

 

No, he sounds like a 60 year old from the east coast and he always has a bunch of facts.

Have you heard the guy that sounds like Les Alexander? He only seems to call into 610 after Rockets games, which I always thought was interesting.

 

That dude Larry is terrible!!

 

There was a drunk guy who called into the postgame after the Game 6 victory who did a good job. He managed to fit in "Who wants to sex Mutombo" and "**** Kobe".

Back in the late 90's, there used to be some guy who always screamed "GO ROCKETS!!!" into the phone just before hanging up. That was during the Lord+Small+Pallillo (no pun intended) years... I forget what was his name... but I really liked him screaming that into the phone...

 

You're thinking of Larry from Stafford. The only two people I really hate are David from the Northside and Ocho Texto. David brings NO insight whatsoever.....he just states the OBVIOUS facts, stutters way too much, and then says things like "I don't think the Los Angeles Lakers deserve to be in the Finals.....Denver and Houston both deserve to be in the Finals more than the Los Angeles Lakers. What do you think?" Uhhhh, I think that the Lakers had the best record in the West, AND beat both teams you were talking about. And Ocho Texto is a complete moron who just peddles his Rafer sucks/Yao sucks crap all over the radio every chance he gets.

 

These guys are losers because you have to wait, on average, 30 minutes to get onto the damn radio when you call in... so these guys spend almost 2+ hours a day on HOLD

 

Yes its Larry in Stafford, I think. He always ends with a, "and Ill holla"...........

 

I think he needs to get a job.
