Lisa Malosky. I loved Cynthia Cooper in a Comets jersey. I do not love her in the broadcast booth.

I miss the starting lineup intro music before those drums.

We need some techno, hip hop, get up off your ass and get hyped kinda music. The drums, on the other hand, cause headaches.

I can say it enough, things that need to change:

    1. Cynthia Cooper, good b-ball player, bad commentator.

    2. TC Announcer, I'm embarrassed when I hear him try to get the crowd in the game. The old announcer was unbelievably better.

    3. The introduction, the drums are so dull and boring. They aren't loud and the crowd doesn't get into it. Bring back Clutch coming out on the bike and revving the engine, remember the good ol' days, "ALL RIGHT HOUSTON!! ON YOUR FEET!!"

Rockets Management Please Read: Going to my first Rockets game at the TC was a huge dissapointment, ya'll spent all this time, money, and effort, and still managed to dissapoint. Improving those 3 things mentioned above would drastically improve the TC.

The games are boring to go to. Not that the team is boring, but the whole TC experience is boring. A small thing like the announcer could change soooo much when it comes to crowd intensity. I cringe everytime I hear T-Gray try to get the crowd in the game, I'm sure he is a great radio dj, but he has no flare in his voice. I found myself sitting down during the introduction because the drumming intro was so horrible.

The games are no fun to go to, even when the Rockets are winning. The TC has to do it's part to get the crowd wild, I know ya'll tried but ya'll tried too hard and changed everything, even the 3 things that didn't need to be changed

Atleast bring back the old announcer, I guarantee you will see a HUGE difference immediately.

    Rockets Fan Forever,

I miss really "good" basketball. Not just the Rockets, but the entire NBA has changed and in some ways declined. You really don't see those "Pistol Pete" or Magic passes anymore, it seems like there are very few pure shooters, and the heady side of the game is in retreat. It is more "football-like" with hulky players muscling up dunks after shoving and pushing everyone aside. I guess I miss the more finesse oriented game. I really miss the "smoking" outside shot. If the Rockets and many other teams could shoot, the zone defenses wouldn't be any problem. Oh well.

Rockets - I miss scoring 100 points every once in a while.

NBA - I miss the mid-range shot. Too many 3's.

I want to tell the rox org. thanx for trying........................but you all think we can get a petition going to bring back the old announcer (or fire T-Gray), and the old intro? And who is in charge of making the decisions about the announcer and intro?

I actually start to think coop has some potentials.
I am starting to like her, and have gotten over the initial resistence.
if she just take some communication course in the offseason and speak more fluidly during half time show, she will be an all star next year.

You are right. Cynthia will achieve mere adequacy as Lisa's replacement if she will just enroll and pass these courses:

    1. "Demosthenes -- How I Did It."

    2. "Articulate Communication 101."

    3. "Asking Questions With Insight 101."

    4. "Mature Behavior in Broadcast Journalism."

    5. "Avoiding Duane Thomas Interview Pratfalls."

    Pre-1999 dream, to be specific...

Man, we sound like a bunch of bitter Celtics fans talking about the Bird/Parish/McHale glory days. :D
