me? I miss REAL happy meals, 20 cent stamps, and dialing 7 digit phone numbers. What are some of the things you miss from the good ol days?

Does it really seem the future is getting worse [IMG]

    Hmmmmm, let's see.

    - Father too drunk to remember to pick me up from school.
    - Mother not allowing me out of the house on Saturday because I might get "hurt."
    - Having no friends at school because I wasn't athletic enough to be a jock or geeky enough to be a brain.
    - Teachers who berated me for "asking too many questions."
    - Being sick a lot.

What do I miss about my childhood? Guess I'd have to say...nothing! [IMG]

The lack of responsibilities or worries. Then again, I guess at that age you don't really realize how good you have it, huh? [IMG]

I also miss the extra free time, everyone paying for you, and people coming up to me and saying how cute I am! [IMG]

What do you think the absolute best age is? I would say 10; before puberty (for guys anyways), your old enough to have some freedom and able to recognize it, yet still have little responsibility or serious worries. Ah, how fast we grow up. [IMG]

Well i'm only 18.. but i miss my childhood lol AHHHHHHH

Seriously how fast things do change though. I'm getting ready to enter my senior year of high school. Should be funnest time of my life, but at this point just too many unanswered questions and so many of them have to be answered this coming year.

Oh well, I'll survive and in a few years be missing my childhood. But I guess at this point like everyone else I'm saying.. hey an adult would be easier than all this nonsense!

By the way I'm wasting away my childhood on this message board. THANKS A LOT GUYS!

Any former 93Q fans? John Lander and the Q-Zoo Crew was way better than that dork Sam Malone on 104.

Timing knows what childhood's all about...

I used to go to splashtown every other day back when I was a kid, I'll probably get skin cancer b/c of all of the sun exposure, but hell it was worth it.

93Q was pretty awesome before they went country, talk about depressing, but the station I LOVED back in junior high was Z-Rock, I used to listen to that station all day, I was really sad when they got replaced by some religious programming. I remember the weekend after they left still listening to 106.9 hoping that this religious thing was all just a big joke and everything will be back to normal. I was very disappointed.

I miss the USA channel from my childhood as well, they used to show like 4 hours worth of gameshows with 2 sitcoms mixed in. It was the greatest television of my life. I miss the classics like Wipeout, the original Hollywood Squares when they had Alf on, Press your luck, $20,000 Pyramid, etc. The 2 sitcoms were rad too, My 2 Dads and Just the Ten of Us. That was how my summer was when I was a kid, watching the USA channel, going to splashtown, and doing cannonballs in my pool.

Back in elementary school, we had some of the coolest meals, except for square hamburger day, I'd always go with the sacked lunch when we had square hamburger, that thing just looked disgusting. Recess was awesome though...kickball, wallball, and 4 squares were the games of choice back then.

Then there was Fun Day, fun day was the bomb.

I also used to have this big chest full of transformers, playing with those things never got old, especially when they made the transformers that could be transformed into like 6 different things.

    Childhood was great...

Sam Malone's show sucked so bad when I was in Houston, I had to change stations. John Lander was funny, but Mr. Leonard made that show. [IMG]

    What I miss:
-No responsibility, could play all day and not have to worry about cutting grass, cleaning, etc!
-Having mom cooking all the meals
-Being able to eat whatever I wanted and never worry about getting big
-Never worrying about what others think about you
-#1 concern was always having fun
