His demeanor, I love how calm he is, and how under control he plays, and he is only 19 years old.

I love how he is very fast on the jump, which allows him to block a lot of shots.

I love his basketball smarts, he lets the game come to him.

Heck, I think EG is the real deal and will be a STAR very soon.

I think he's the Rocket's most valuable player.

I believe Griffin is the second comming of a Hakeem type player for this team with a three point shot.

Griffin almost never has the mental breakdowns that you see other players have during the games. He never seems to get into foul trouble. He only 19! He will be a star in this league for the next 15 to 20 years if he wants.

I agree with everything DaDakota said.

I would like to add a side note here: I'm truely greatful to the reporter or individual that started the rumor of Griffin being a headcase, because he punched out a teammate one time. WOW! Without that bogus rumor, EG would surely be in DC now. :D

I am a very big fan of E.G.; down the road I believe he will be the closest we get to having another Hakeem. He has serious offensive AND defensive skills. We have seen more defense than offense, but given the opportunity (like having plays run for him or even receiving an occasional pass) he is capable of erupting for big offensive numbers. He is essentially why I am still keeping up with this team. Otherwise, this current team absolutey drives me crazy! This year is like a study in basketball stupidity. If you have ever played or coached this game this team is very hard to watch. Positive Posting (PP) is beside the point. Tell the truth!

I think Griffin and Francis perfectly complement each other. There are really only two things Francis can't bring - height (to bang in the post) and shot-blocking. Griffin brings that and more. Add a smarter Mobley as a deadly offensive third weapon and you should have a top team for the next 7, 8 years.

I would say is his ability to shot blocks. The ability to giving the Rockets a inside presence. The way he knocks down those triples.

I like the fact that he's good and he's only 19!

And that he'll be around for a long time!

In response to who will be better in the end, I believe that when it's all said and done, Griffin will be the better player. Griffin brings both offense and defense to the Rockets, something that I doubt Francis will ever do.

I like evrything about him except when he impersonate Antoine Walker and shoot a lot of 3's and miss most of them. He'll definitly get better and I don't know why everyone is so eager to bring Taylor back at that spot. His defense and rebounding are natural and once they start getting him some better scoring chances, his game will take off.

I love EVERYTHING :D about EG's game and demeanor. He's mature beyond his years and not at all intimidated. His quiet confidence is a great counterbalance to the showboating from his teammates that sometimes crosses the line.

He plays with a fire and energy that belies his outward appearance. He always hustles, sprints downcourt (often going unrewarded, but never complaining), and is a fierce competitor in the trenches. And he is a pure shooter who knows how and when to use the glass.

He's very good at 19 - his upside potential is unlimited:) :)
