    10 ppg 50% threes, 5 rbg.

Van Gundy just didn't want to develop rookies!

he won't get much of a shot until an injury. Battier, Bonzi, TMac will hold down the 3 spot.

    Soo barring an injury, I'd say 10 mpg, 4 ppg, 40% 3ptrs

Ride the bench. Play some garbage time. Look lost on the court defensively.

I'd almost be surprised if Novak was even on the bench, I'm thinking he will primarily be on the practice squad and maybe get on the bench if there's an injury.

Not much. Maybe we'll find out if he's more than just roster filler. If he can't play defense, can't rebound, can't set picks and can't get open on offense then Novak is useless. IMO, he looked more lost on offense than defense last season which was surprising.

man he'll have to earn every minute he gets.

JVG may have buried him on the bench, but with bonzi back, along with battier and tmac... i just don't see alot of minutes for him.

can he REALLY play the 4? if so he's got a shot.

but we all know we need rebounding and defense from the 4 spot. can he do that?

I'm hoping some day, he'll be the next Matt Bullard.

This is Novak's year. Either he will become a solid rotational player or he will be gone. Personally, I believe he will be a real contributor to a contending Rockets team.

Once Adelman begins to create screens for him, he will be devastating. I believe we will be hearing Gene P's consistent cry of "Three-Fer Novak!" or "Another Three-Fer Novak." Can't wait.

I personally would have preferred Pittsnogle when they drafted Novak. More Big game competition and clutch

I expect that he will be on the roster the entire year. Less than that, and I will be somewhat disappointed. Beyond that, who knows.

I expect him to average 1.3 threes a game.

If Yao Ming can go from a rail thin guy to a 310 lb center, Novak can do the same. I hope he is working out, and building his muscles. I can't see any reason why he can't be a true power forward, if he develops his body.

I think it all depends on how The Power Forward Position turns out. If we just resign Hayes & draft a Rookie PF. I expect him to get at least a chance to play, but if we get a power forward through trade/free agency, then It going to be tough for him to get on the court.
