Obviously someone put detergent in there. Do you let in run through the cycle, air dry, how do you stop it from making more bubbles? What do I do next? I cleaned out the little cup of detergent, but then what next?

Yup and your's truly started that thread when a friend of mine threw in some Dawn because we ran out of dishwasher detergent. Say Smeg, your response was exactly the same. :D

I found the best thing to do is to strip to your underpants and then run out to the nearest parked car. Once arriving at the parked car, jump on top of it and start dancing like MC Hammer while shouting repeatedly, "I HAVE TO POOP!"

    It worked for me.

    Um...what was the problem again?

Invite the Stones over, with Mick Taylor, dress them in sailor get ups and stand back as "It's Only Rock and Roll" commences.

In all seriousness, drop some Gas X, or some other type of anti-gas pill. I heard it works, although Ive never tried it myself.

I heard vinegar kills the bubbles.

Ok. Thanks. I mopped up extra fluid, dried with a sponge, and will now add some vinegar and run through cycle. Ought to be interesting.
