For me, it's their execution on offense. They play a beautiful game. Rockets often play ugly selfish game.

Guys like Wafer, Lowry and Artest need to go to Jerry Sloan boot camp for a while so they learn to play beautiful.

Their cutting, their offense is really smooth. Doug Collins said it too, that out of bounds play they run is money almost every time.

They run their offense like a military unit and they're no nonsense. It's what I like about the Spurs when they're healthy as well. They both execute.

how every player on their team can essentially create their own shot. okur is a guard in a 7' body. what other big man in the league can shoot running floaters?!?!?

they're very disciplined on offense and always attack the basket. they aren't good enough to beat the lakers though.

    They just play great basketball.

You could talk about their flopping, but at the end of the day, its who wins the game, not who complains the most. If you have a problem with their flopping, then think "eye for an eye," and flop too.

There's a reason why Jerry Sloan is the longest tenured coach in the game right now. He knows what he's doing.

Also, Deron Williams is like a second coming of John Stockton.

I agree. I hate them for the fact that they flop and whine a lot, but I do admire how well they execute plays. I especially like how all their players cut hard towards the basket. They also seem to have many athletic players that can shoot lights out if left open as well as drive towards the basket and finish.

ya i notice they killed us with their guards cutting to the basket. thats what motion offence is like and thats what rockets should do more often. besides that, i hate everything the jazz does.

They adjust to you quickly. React to what you are trying to do to stop them. They recognize what your weakness is and go right at it. Once you try and counter that, they counter your counter. They play smart, crafty (yes, as crappy as flopping is), and just don't panic.

Good thread in light of the team getting their ass handed to them tonight. Respect and know the opposition, and you stand a better chance to defeat them.

The Jazz are the 2nd best offensive team.

Their players make hard cuts and dont stand around. D-Will is D-Will making nifty passes. The Jazz are dunking and shooting layups in high % for large chunk of their FGAs while u guys are shooting jumpers.

I always think D-Will should shoot more becoz he's one of their best finisher/shooter. But D-Will is satisfied to be an assist guy and dont take over unless he's forced to, but sometimes it's too late.

They always play against us with a high intensity.

Being our rival all these years, it seems that they have mastered how we play and how i wish we could do the same.
