My humble thoughts on what's required to fix the broken "O ring" on the Rockets space ship.

    1. Enhance our defensive philosophy, we continue to get killed year after year by the pick and roll. LA forces all pick rolls to the baseline (i.e. into Shaq or Robert). As a result, teams are left with a big man shooting a jumper not a good percentage. In addition, this keeps the point guard out of the middle of our defense.

    2. Let us loose, I'm imagining a Dallas or Sac type team that pushes the ball. We have enough shooters to match anyone.,

    3. Sign Stevie to a maximum long-term contract. Without Stevie we are zero without a hero.

    4. Play Kenny at the 3 spot or trade him for a veteran player.

In my opinion. 18 points per game from our starting power forward. A sharp-shooting spot-up shooter at SF who can hit the three. Rank as one of the best teams in the league in points per game. Steve playing closer to the way he did last season than he did this season. And lastly, start off games good and not play so much catchup ball. Even if our defense doesn't improve, I think the Rockets could make the playoffs if they improve in the above areas.

An assistant coach who could teach players how and when to pass would be a big thumbs up.

    1. Better Defense

    2. Smarter Players

    3. At least 1 player with a good post game, that we actually use in the offense.

I forgot to add, share the ball, We win when we lead the other team in assists and hold them below a 100 points.

    1. Get healthy.
    2. Better defensive.
    3. Better efficiency on offensive. More low post O.
