    I was very disappointed.

Rudy is the guy I respected most out of the final four, but I somehow knew that he wasn't going to win.

Sue is a sore loser. However, I did agree with a lot of the points she made. Kelly was very deceptive and did not make her game as clear as Rich did. Is that the way she wanted to play the game or did it show of her true character?
Kelly just wanted to get some sympathy votes in the end, IMO.

I don't hate Rich as much as most do, as he doesn't seem to be the devil that everyone seems to think him to be.
I do find him pretty damn arrogant, though. That's what pissed me off about him.

All in all, I'm glad Richard won it over Kelly. It was really about the lesser of the two evils, as I really didn't care for three of the four left.

    Thoughts?

    Oh, by the way.

Why did I start this new thread?

First, to actually see what each thought about the final now that it's over with, rather than having the predictions, show cummaries, and thoughts combined.
Second, why does that other thread look all screwed up, damn it?

Oh, and what the heck was up with the number thing? Jeez, that was lame.
Hehe...I wasn't surprised, though. It was to be expected from the guy.

I wanted Rudy to win it, because he was the most honest out of the remaining four. He never lied about being in an alliance. He also didn't want to join the alliance at first. He only joined it when he realized that if he didn't he was gone.

Out of Richard and Kelly, I wanted Kelly. I feel she was the lesser of the two evils. I just felt that Richard was the one who came up with the "alliance" idea and as the old adage goes, "Those who live by the sword, must die by the sword." He was also arrogant, condescending, and a bit elitist.

I really didn't want Kelly to win either, but in the end I just felt she was a better "person", and so I would've voted for her.

It was a no win situation for the jury. It came down to one vote (I'm glad I don't go to an Ivy League school cause I would be an idiot like Greg. What did this guy major in? He has no job yet a Brown diploma.)

Kelly - She acted too innocent at the jury vote. Whether she actually befriended people there is questionable. She cannot deny that she was part of the alliance. It was wrong for Sue to trash her like that. Sue is two faced cause she told Rich about Kelly's plans. Kelly learned more from this experience then any of the alliance members. No question she was the best person meaning least objectionable, but remember what Jeff the host said:

vote for who played the game the best?

Rich - From day one his mind was on the prize. He masterminded the alliance and kept it together. He saved his ass several times from coup attempts. Rudy remained loyal to him till the end. Rich played Survivor better than anyone else. He wasn't out there to make friends. No one liked him. If it was down to Kelly or Rich, after last night I would vote for Rich. Maybe before that I was leaning towards Kelly.

Survivor 2 isn't going to be as interesting. Everyone now knows that they must form alliances from day one to be successful. The Pagong tribe was killed because they did not have an alliance. It is not going to be fun to see everyone in an alliance. I want to see some independents. Independents though will not last. There should be some rules changes for Survivor 2 regarding alliance formation.

Survivor has been so unpredictible , who would think that RIch and his craftieness could sway Rudy to vote for him even when he was betrayed , I was going for Kelly but I was wrong on some aspects , i knew Kelly would win the challenges and Be in the final two , now if she had voted Rich out , Rudy would have gotten far more votes , what shocked me was that Sean and Greg both voted for Rich without much hesitation , Gervase's attitude towards Sue cleary made him vote for Kelly out of comtempt , but ths game is so weird that no one could have predicted the ending , Kelly looked like she had no chance so I went for her , than it looked like Kelly would win for sure i thought now Rich will probably win . Well i cant wait til Survivor 2

I would be interested in having old basketball players shoved on the island to compete. Bird, Majic, Dr. J., Barkely Laimbeer, Russell. It would get really interesting. The chit chat would be awesome. Winner gets, ummmm,....
