Mine TOTALLY did not work for me because I told it I hated the desert and didn't want to be near the ocean or mountains, yet look at my top 10... Little Rock, AK New Orleans, LA (ocean) Sacramento, CA (mountains) Las Vegas, NV (desert) Orange County, CA (ocean) Honolulu, Hawiaii (ocean) San Diego, CA (ocean) Shrevport, LA Long Beach, CA (ocean) Monroe, LA Here's some of the others... Albuqurque, NM (desert) Portland, OR (ocean) LA, CA (ocean) Okland, CA (ocean) HUH??? Plus, am I supposed to live in Louisiana or California? I had 3 more LA cities on my long list and two more CA. That is 12 of my top 20 in LA or CA! How are those two even remotely similar? I also had NO cities in Texas listed. I'll stick with my choice I think. ------------------ The internet is about the free exchange and sale of other people's ideas. - Futurama [This message has been edited by Jeff (edited June 06, 2001).]
Arkansas is AR. Alaska is AK. One thing is that the survey can't take into accountmany reasons why we choose the places we do. For example, I might like to live in Austin or Houston or even Phoenix or Nashville or Memphis (I've liked all those cities, and at different points in my life, have considered moving to each of them), but I can't be that far away from my kids back in Amarillo. Even moving to Austin would make it harder for me to see them, so since I want to live in relatively large cities, I'm pretty well limited to D/FW, OKC or Albuquerque. But I think that based on the information I gave, my list was pretty representative of the kind of places I would probably like (Some I don't know for sure, though, because I've never been to cities like Charlotte or Tucson or Richmond). ------------------ Houston Sports Board Film Dallas.com AntiBud.com
