Myself, I drive a 1989 Isuzu, short bed, two-seater, gold/copper pick-up truck. It has approximately 178,000 miles on it and the AC still works! I'm still "pumpin' up" the music with the stock radio and speakers that came with it! The wheels are Elite Wheels w/ 225/50, 15in. Road Hugger tires. Don't laugh! It's been a good truck to me, but alas, all good things must come to an end. I'll be purchasing a new, full-size truck(probably a Chevy) or maybe even the Tahoe(kinda pricey though). So what do you drive? Don't be shy/ashamed of your ride! Any car that can get you "from here to there safe and sound" is alright by me!
2000 Silver Ford Ranger. I want to go buy a Mitsubishi though, just for the deal...no interest ever, no payments for one year.
1998 Ford Ranger 4x4 flareside, regular cab (red). Fun truck to drive, but I'll be upgrading next year when I am a full-time employee....I too am considering the Tahoe or Expedition EB. Only problem is the fuel costs. OUCH.
2002 Volkswagen GTI. Reflex Silver with Black Cloth interior. 180hp 1.8L Turbo engine. 17" alloy wheels. It will be one week old tomorrow.
1993 green Honda Del Sol -- The a/c is currently not working so I've been using Mr. JB's truck recently (which is a 2000 Toyota Tacoma pre-runner in burgundy).
1995 BMW 530ti Sport Touring Wagon. Just broke 100,000 miles and is still going strong. I have to throw the Sport Touring Wagon part in to convice myself I'm not driving my dads 1976 Ford LTD wagon. Actually I've become my dad and my two young kids love the GIANT sunroof that goes from the front well past the back seat. My wagon just kicks the crap out of the family truckster dad hauled us around in.
I have a 2000 Camaro SS - Black w/T-Tops, Leather, full loaded. Wanna see pics? Go here. Also, we just got a new 2002 Mazda Protege ES last night, I will be posting pics on my website later in the day if you are interested.
2000 Mercury Sable Hey Sonny, why did you block out your license plate numbers on your web site, it`s not like we have any stalkers on the site
2002 Nissan Altima 2.5SL (Of course, I've mentioned my car a lot on this board, so there are probably very few people who didn't already know what I drive). I love it.
I live in Manhattan in NY, and I don't drive anything. However the vehicle I use most is the 1,2, and 3 lines of the subway. The subway cars do have a/c most of the time, but the stations where you wait for the cars don't have a/c nor do they have any real ventilation. It gets very hot!
He He! Interesting story on this... Although I probably would never have gone out and bought this SUV on my own. In January my wife was talking to one of her bosses that was in the middle of a nasty divorce and he was lamenting that he wanted to dump all his assets so she couldn't take everything he owned. He said that he would rather sell the truck then her getting it. Now keep in mind that this truck new was about $28,000, it only had 49K miles and it is loaded!! My wife joked to him "well, how much would you take for it?" thinking there was no way we could afford it. After a few minutes of thinking about it he said "I'll take $5000 for it" Needless to say we found a way to come up with the cash. I still feel kind of guilty about taking advantage of the situation. But what's a guy to do?!?!? There is also the concern about driving a gas guzzling SUV. I'm still trying to justify it.
Right now I am driving my mom's '98 Beetle, because there are concerns that my '73 Karmen Ghia can't make the commute over the mountain every day. Hopefully, within a year I will have either a BMW 330i or an Audi TT. We'll see how much money I can save up, because I want to pay for it in cash.
