i am sure yall heard bout japan hunting them whales. and i sure do not like dat. me no like japan. me no like what japan is doing. what can we do to pitch a lil support for them bouncy whales? thank you.
omg, peeple no like them bouncy whales? they are so cute. and i heard what japan do is, stick something in their butt/back/head and let them drag their boat for hours. and they they kill it and drink whale juice and eat whale meat. that is barbaric. we need to help them whales. they are closer to human than tuna fish.
I would send Rafer Alston over as a harpoon gun specialist. Hopefully whatever magic pixie dust he has that tricks coaches into thinking he's a good player would rub off on the whalers and they would make him their chief harpoon aiming trainer. Whale survival rate jumps to 80%.
Personally, I think Wells needs to save himself. He needs to quit settling for jumpshots and work his way down inside. And he has to at least try to stay in front of his man on defense. I know he's never been a good defender, but there's no excuse for his lack of effort. His rebounding is as good as ever, and he makes a few hustle plays, but he's got to bring up the rest of his game.
What I can do to help save them is to offer them salvation through Jesus Christ. but what if they don't want to be saved?
Sadly, you can't do much about it. Japan is seafood INSANE. I saw a show a couple years ago where this guy would go around and eat weird food in different countries. He went to Japan. Those people eat anything that is born in water. The show also mentioned that Japan accounts for 1/3 of the total seafood consumption in the world.
Steve Irwin will save the whales! http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5i0gS8NW-GqQvanV742MRSmlHthXwD8TB4LS80 Anti-Whaling Group Dubs Ship Steve Irwin MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — A conservation group that has vowed to disrupt Japan's annual whale hunt launched its Antarctic campaign Wednesday by renaming one of its ships after "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, the late environmental campaigner. The U.S.-based Sea Shepherd Conservation Society says it will use whatever means necessary to block Japan from harvesting up to 50 humpbacks, 935 minkes and 50 fin whales in Antarctic waters as part of an oceanic research program that critics decry as commercial whaling in disguise. Irwin's widow, Terri, threw her support behind the mission by giving Sea Shepherd permission to rename one of its two flagship vessels after her husband, the TV wildlife program host who died from a stingray attack off Australia's Great Barrier Reef in September 2006. "Whales have always been in Steve's heart, and in 2006 he was investigating the possibility of joining the Sea Shepherd on part of its journey to defend these beautiful animals," Terri Irwin said in a statement. The hulking black-and-red vessel, which flies a pirate flag featuring a skull over a trident and a shepherd's hook, had previously been named for the Canadian anti-whaling campaigner Robert Hunter. Sea Shepherd has come under heavy criticism in recent years for engaging in violent tussles with the Japanese whaling fleet. In February, Sea Shepherd clashed with a Japanese vessel, leaving the Robert Hunter with a 3-foot gash in its stern, during a violent confrontation that both sides blamed on the other party. Japanese officials said the activists threw ropes and nets into the water to entangle the Japanese ship's propeller and prevent it from maneuvering, and threw smoke canisters and garbage onto the deck. Sea Shepherd has not disputed this version of the events, but says it does not discuss the specifics of its activities at sea. During the clash, two Sea Shepherd crew members went missing for several hours in a small inflatable boat but were later found safe. The confrontation drew protests from Japan, and even sparked strong rebukes of Sea Shepherd's tactics from the strongly anti-whaling governments of Australia and New Zealand. The newly named Steve Irwin will form the backbone of Sea Shepherd's Antarctic mission. Sea Shepherd founder Paul Watson said the television star shared the group's passion for saving whales. "Steve wanted to come to Antarctica with us to defend the whales, and now he will be joining us in spirit with his name emblazoned" on the ship, Watson said in a statement. Oh! Color me shocked. I just cannot believe we have a poster (with a Chinese moniker no less) that doesn't like Japan. Next thing you know, someone is going to disparage Karl Malone. It's a world gone mad, I tell you.
You'd have about as much luck changing the Chinese (and Asian in general) practice of killing [insert endangered/threatened species here] for it's "medicinal qualities".
woohoo, now we have a debate time to move the thread? let me start, how about them turkey? every year, they get slaughtered.
