I wonder if Miami will take him. He and Odom would get along great. I know Riles is beggin teams to take Grant or Jones. To bad we didnt keep that Rice contract as bargaining to get another player.

Cat/Griffin/trade exemption could probably pick us up a nice little deal. A trade with Miami would make sense, but Jone's contract is so much to handle, Grant would be a nice pickup though.

I would love to pick up a true PG and a POWER forward.

I think you guys are dreaming. His trade value is not going to be high as no team wants to put up with a "Problem Child". I think we should wait and see what happens. Eddie has so much talent and we would not get his value in return.

I remember that during the summer, Miami or some othe easten team had interest in him. He might still be some value to a eastern team. Besides, missing practice and drug is common nowadays in the league.

He had very little value before this "episode." It has only gotten worse.

You mean what can we get in a trade for griffin? The way he's going, all we can get another huge dissapointment 1st rounder with personal troubles. How about Jay Williams or Qyntel Woods? Vin Baker fits into his same category, but I don't think Eddie Griffin is even good enough for Vin.

What should we give to E. Griffin? How about entrance into a 12-step program of some sorts... like "DEADBEATS ANONYMOUS". Huh??? I know I'm being mean but this kid needs to grow up. He's 21--full age to vote, serve in the army, gamble, drink, and do anything but rent a car in this country--he has 2 years of NBA experience, and he's getting paid millions of dollars to play f**king basketball. And what does he do? He's high all the time, he skips games and practices without telling anyone, and he doesn't improve. I'd be fine if the guy was not improving but at least trying and following JVG, but give me a break. He went AWOL last year and he does it twice again this year in a time when they're looking to extend his contract. Not smart.

Let's loan him to the Heat for a while in hopes of trading him for Odom.
