A bag of weed? But then I guess Eddie would have to be dragged out of here.

EG is screwing himself and Houston at this point...

Houston still needs to figure out if this guy is worth keeping for another season...

Houston needs to figure out if he's worth keeping for this season...

Houston needs to figure out what is plan B if EG keeps acting like this...

Houston is in a bad situation right now with EG...

What team is going to want him right now... Not any I can think of even if it meant getting rid of Rasheed Wallace, I don't think Portland would trade for him...

If EG was ever on the trading block, his stock just fell because of this wierd incident this past weekend...

So if any moves are made it would probably be with Cato or Mobley and maybe give EG up also on the side... Thats a huge IF at this point...

    HOW ABOUT THIS:

Houston trades: PF Eddie Griffin (8.6 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 24.5 minutes)
SF Bostjan Nachbar (2.1 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.2 apg in 5.5 minutes)
Houston receives: PF Marcus Fizer (11.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.3 apg in 21.3 minutes)
Change in team outlook: +1.0 ppg, -1.1 rpg, and 0.0 apg.

Chicago trades: PF Marcus Fizer (11.7 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 1.3 apg in 21.3 minutes)
Chicago receives: PF Eddie Griffin (8.6 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.1 apg in 77 games)
SF Bostjan Nachbar (2.1 ppg, 0.8 rpg, 0.2 apg in 14 games)
Change in team outlook: -1.0 ppg, +1.1 rpg, and 0.0 apg.

    TRADE ACCEPTED

    How about this?

Houston trades: Eddie Griffin, PF, Seton Hall
Houston recieves: a dime bag, a 40, a snow cone, and some bubblicious

    trade accepted!

Honestly, I don't see any team craving EG at this point in time. The guy has talent. I'm sure we'll all give him that. But what good is talent, if you don't work hard to maximize and improve on it, don't study the game to cut back on mental mistakes, if you're not a professional, and most importantly, if you do not show up to practice and games at all. What is it with this guy? Is there any chance of anyone lighting a fire under him to become at least half the player that he could and was invisioned to become. I don't even care anymore if it's the Rockets or not. Being a really big supporter of the draft day trade that sent 3 first rounders packing for EG, I'm having a hard time saying this, but at this point he has shown very little on the court for me to get excited anymore about his vast potential (and possible future all-star births), and now he's pulling this crap! I'm willing to see what he brings us this season, considering he comes to work everyday on time, prepared and ready to play. If he still produces the same results as his previous 2 seasons, I say pull the trigger on my suggested trade because at that point, anything would be worth it.

Griffin's trade value is at all time low right now. It would be really stupid to try to trade him now.

Eddie can still pull it together and become what we all thought that he could be, but the clock is ticking on him. Right now he is dangerously close to becoming a bust.

The $7 mill trade exception would be used if he's shipped out, right? That was one of the reasons we got it in the Rice trade. Wouldn't Antoinio Davis be more likely?

Eddie + Mobley + $7 Mill Excpt for AD + Mo Pete?
