Paraphrasing: that Rudy and the staff aren't so thrilled with him as may seem or as they may let on (player-wise, mind you; not personally) and that Falk might engineer a trade to, say, New York, for Kurt Thomas and role players... Is this even remotely possible? What was the final response in the "can we sign-and-trade-Mo" debate? Even if we could trade Mo, you'd think NY would go after C-Webb (somehow). Probably a team like Milwaukee could use Mo and Cato instead, but the point is, could we even do it? Sorry if this is redundant; I just can't remember the answer. If the answer is no, I wish bskball would get its **** straight. ------------------
All oeilpere has been saying for months is how thrilled the Rockets are with Mo Taylor and just how much Rudy likes him, and based on previous records (ESPECIALLY with the Rockets) I'll take oeilpere over BSKball in Rockets rumors and their accuracy. BSKball's sources are more than likely people who know a lot about basketball and try to "assume" things based on what they see in the stat sheets and what they know about David Falk. New York may want Mo, but what he said about the Rockets not being happy with Mo from all other sources is completely wrong. And I'd really have to question the validity of the statement on us definitely resigning Shandon... after his production this year and what he seems to want moneywise, I wouldn't be sure about that at all. ------------------ President of the Mo Taylor, Jason Collier, and draft Richard Jefferson fan club!
