Looking for something to do this weekend for the 4th... What's going on in the city of Houston this weekend...?
JUST BOUGHT MY TICKETS FOR SPIDER-MAN 2 FOR FRIDAY NIGHT!!! Swimming and hot dogs on Sunday...followed by fireworks. Hoping to stay out of the office on Monday.
oh jeez.... Friday night, celebrating my youngest sister's sweet 16. God help us all. ***If you live in the Cypress area, avoid driving within 3 miles of Huffmeister and Cypress N Houston. (In other words, don't drive) Saturday morning I'm refitting my bridesmaid dress. Sunday night/early monday morning is mine and DT's one year anniversary.
Going where the water tastes like wine! Gonna jump in the river, stay drunk all the time! Looking forward to a long weekend at the country home! Fishing beer grilling beer fireworks beer playing with the new puppy beer lake swimming did I say beer? Happy 4th all!
Sitting in at a jam Thursday night. Day off Friday. Date Friday night. Recovery from date Saturday. Out drinking with friends Sat. night. Either fishing or BBQing on Sunday. If I fish Sunday, I will BBQ Monday. Rest and recuperation all day Monday.
All day BBQ and beer by the pool with my family and friends. Is there really anything other than that to do on July 4th?
Barbecuing all day Saturday, gathering on the patio Saturday night, barbecuing all day Sunday. Sunday night I'll be on the south shore of Clear Lake, about 200 yards from the fireworks barge, watching the sky light up.
Like any good American, I'm celebrating the fourth in beautiful British Columbia--flying there tomorrow. I'm actually going to a BBQ and we'll see fireworks on Sunday.

I've been to CL Park, South Shore area (behind Mc Donald) and under the Kemah Bridge (to view firework from the boardwalk). I have never quite got a great view of the fire works, good but not great. Where do you view it from? Maybe I should go to downtown again this year.
Nope, I don't live there. I'm just flying over there to visit. My friend who grew up in Houston lives there though. He's a pretty big Houston fan.
My friend is having a Heavy-Metal pool party tommorrow. I'm just going to relax on the fourth. Maybe go to the beach on Monday.
Busting arse this morning so's I can get on the road as soon as the girl gets off work. Off to Braunfels (buddy's out of town = free place to crash), wake up early tomorrow & hit the river before all the yahoos get there. Take boat out to Canyon Lake for the afternoon, Gary P. Nunn at Gruene Hall Sat night. Sunday AM head NW a few miles to the family ranch...bbq, fishing & whatnot, taking the 4 wheelers over the hills & through the woods, whatever other trouble I can get into. Monday head north to San Saba to mark calves on family's other ranch. Probably do a little fishing in the Colorado while I'm there. Back to Htown Monday night. Have a great weekend everybody.
