You've actually heard of them? They're from a town about an hour and a half (if that) away. It's a Buffalo suburb. I saw them play about a year ago(they got lucky and were placed on the bill as a 'local band'), and they were decent. Then, they put out a new album, and I was blown away. They'll be big.

got them last month enjoying them both, love em both if i had a choice i choose wide awake but digital is certainly growing on me the ben lee is also very good
Nothing on the album is too (radio) catchy IMO so they probably won't get as big as say, The Killers or Franz Ferdinand. Good songs, but no real radio hits that can get played over and over. But hey, you never know. Fad band is a fad band, but I like them.....for now. edit: They have done pretty well over in Europe so far, haven't they? On the subject though, I really dislike The Killers. The mix on their album/live sounds like a train wreck, weak vocals, and from what I've seen on various television shows...they have very bad stage presence. Oh well, I'm probably in the minority on that one.
I forgot to mention, VHS or BETA. Their album "Night on Fire" is pretty good. Been listening to that one for about 8 months or so. It seems to be picking up some popularity now.
Wow, Oski, how were you able to get copies of those shows so quickly? Are they already out there, and how's the quality? Just curious- I like U2 a lot, but I have a friend who is an absolute addict....
