My favorite type of thread here at cc.net. And since it's a milestone post (15,000), I thought I'd start another one. Dave Matthews-Some Devil Various Artists-Live from Bonnaroo 2003 Barenaked Ladies-Everything to Everyone The String Cheese Incident-Untying the Not Outkast-Speakerboxxx/The Love Below Vertical Horizon-Go
Jesus, 15,000. Good job. Currently, an mp3 on Johhny B. Good is playing on the computer. In the car, a compilation of the finest power ballads ever recorded.
Congrats!! WoW! 15,000...man, you really need to get a life... yaknew that was coming listening right now... Styx --Pieces of Eight
Audioslave - Over and over and over in the car. Reminds me of my first year in college driving to school listening to Metallica's Black album over and over and over.
MadMax, How are you liking Some Devil? I think when it's all said and done, it may be one of my favorite cds in a very long time. The only song I don't like is the title track. I'm missing some other cds I've been listening to. Queens of the Stone Age...I've been playing that one a lot lately.
Get a life, RM95! Right now? Here are some... Shawn Colvin- a few small repairs Dan Hicks and his Hot Licks- The Blue Thumb Years- 1971-1973 13th Floor Elevators- All Time Highs (an import) The Doors- The Best of the Doors Roy Orbison and Friends- A Black and White Night Live The New American Orchestra- Blade Runner Led Zeppelin- Disc Two (from the remastered 4 disc set)
"Whatdaya want for nothin'...rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrubber biscut?!?!?" I finally got a soundcard for my work computer so I'm listening to streaming audio of The Phil Hendrie Show. People keep looking at me and wondering why I'm laughing so hard that my eyes are watering... I'm going to get Edie Brickell's new CD and Living Colour's new one as well, so I'll be listening to those in the very near future. Congrats (I think) on 15,000.
Nope, but I'll check them out. This is exactly why I love these threads. I never listen to the radio, so this is where I get all my music recommendations from. Remembered another one: Travis-12 Memories.
it's really good...it's certainly not my favorite among any Dave-related CD's...but it's good. honestly, i like heavier things better. i didn't expect that to be the case.
I am still listening to the CDs that I bought recently off Amazon this month in my car: "Fallen" - Evanescence "Greatest Hits" - Patty Smyth Featuring Scandal "Tour de France Soundtracks" - Kraftwerk "Life for Rent" - Dido "Houses of the Holy" - Led Zeppelin "Tidal" - Fiona Apple At work and at home: "Walking Wounded" - Everything but the Girl "Mezzanine" - Massive Attack "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" - Sarah McLachlan "Disintegration" - The Cure "Angel Dust" - Faith No More
I'm listening to KRBE that's playing on my co-worker's radio...I'm getting a constant reminder of how much the station sucks...
