    This is a thread with the following objectives in mind:

    1. Identify the characteristics of what it takes to be a high quality poster on this bbs (in hope to propose some guidelines & new ideas that could help solving the posting quality of GARM)

    2. Suggest role models that bbs members can lookup on & learn from them on how to generate high quality posts...

    3. Treat it as a game using basketball analogy to have posters creative minds rolling & have some fun

    4. identify and enhance the identity of this bbs

    5. Promote & learn some interesting clutchcitynet history :D

    Gee, I feel like writing a thesis... any further questions? :D

    Look in the feedback forum for a thread called Possible FAQ, or something close to that. That has everything on being a quality poster, mixed in with a healthy dose of levity of course.

    2. Suggest role models that bbs members can lookup on & learn from them on how to generate high quality posts...

    Since the switch to .net almost 4 years ago, there have been about 19 "annual" best poster contests. Those will have all the information on most of the best posters (pretty much everyone but the good n00bs, and me ;) )

    3. Treat it as a game using basketball analogy to have posters creative minds rolling & have some fun

    The only really wothwhile goal of the thread, but the main idea (best posters) has been done to death.

    4. identify and enhance the identity of this bbs

    The identity of the bbs is fine, don't mess with it.

    5. Promote & learn some interesting clutchcitynet history :D

    There is way too much history to really catch up on. I would suggest just reading old posts if you are really interested though.

    thanks! I enjoy any constructive comments... certainly would like to check these threads out when I have time to carryout the research... oh, since it's going to be a research... I'll probably have to do an integration & analysis of all the objectives mentioned above... which is the main purpose of this thread :D

    Yep, get banned and beg to get back on...that is how ZRB works.

    Great job ZRB...or is it TURN...which one is it today?

    My answer would be to have thick skin and not worry about what people say about you and simply post what you think, and be able to back up your arguments with quality thoughts.

    Most people here are fairly friendly and are patient with newbies....some aren't.....and we have no time for trolls.

    Like DaDakota said; but in a similar opinion, just be yourself, stick to your guns, think of possibilities, don't be so thick-headed, and try to be nice...

    ...Then you'll be a SUPERSTAR! (like me...)

    You'd need two teams (Hangout & GARM). Moderators coach.

    To get really over, you need some kind of gimmick from the marketing department (hippie, Mr. Nice Guy, p*rn star banger, depressed, evil genius, crazy foreigner, etc.) ;)

    You just joined a couple of days ago and you're already tired, damn.

    We don't have an allstar team, there is however a tourney and the Clutch Awards. You missed the awards and the tourney is in the fall.
