Correct me if I am wrong but my understanding is if we sign and trade Francisco Garcia directly with the Lakers or in a three way deal we can retain or MLE and BAE. To me it is very useful and important for us to keep those this year. It super charges uor championship run IMO. The question is will the Lakers want to help us.

I think they might. They have some interest in Garcia. And if they do a Snt with us to get him they save their MLE money and the get a big TE plus we can even throw them a first to complete the deal. Even if they do not agree we can do Snt with a third team that wants Garcia and offer them a 2nd rd pick basically for free if they just help us complete a three team deal with LA. They would Garcia and a 2nd, the Lakers get a first and we get Howard plus we get to keep all of our Non guaranteed players plus sign Canaan and Kostas to 3 year deals and have money left over to sign Chauncey Billups or some other vet who can help now.

All that happens while still keeping Asik andLin who we can deal anytime if something big comes around. What do you guys think?

Not a chance man, they are getting ready to be players in the 2014 FA class. They are already over the tax line, and do not want to add on more especially if the talent coming in has contracts that extend beyond next year.
