From your poll options, 25% chance based primarily on KD's friendship with Harden.
It would have been higher if OKC never turned around in the SAS series. But once they got past SAS and then pushed GSW to the brink...that makes it tough to leave.

Yeah I agree, if the spurs would of won.. our chances would of been higher.. supposedly nike wants kd out of okc. Mostly likely he would sign a 2 year deal with okc and opt out the first year.

I really think it's somewhere in between 50 and 25 but I went with 50 because there wasn't an option in between.

I think Durant leaves OKC and I think the Rockets will have one of the better pitches for him to consider.

I didn't see a -25% as a choice... that's where KD laughs at us even approaching him, then signs with GSW or SAN (hoping he stays put or goes to WAS).

The official percentages (ISOBall's %s) are:

Chances of leaving the OKC Thunder: 65%

If leaving, chances of signing with the Houston Rockets: 100%

I know....can't believe how delusional some of these guys are.

I wouldn't say it's zero, and putting a numerical value on it is hypocritical in itself but lets just say its close to never happening.

It's a chance, it's not high... but who knows. Maybe Harden can work his magic.

    Agreed.

That said, even if SAS had swept OKC in 4 games by 10+ points in each game, that still wouldn't have given us a high chance of getting him. It would have greatly increased the chances of leaving but probably only marginally increased the chances of him coming here. With how well OKC did in the playoffs I would be really surprised if he left.

With the poll options that you have, I guess I would vote 25%? Because I do think that there is some amount of a chance, but I wouldn't put it very high at all. Maybe 5%? Or something like that.

100% we get KD if we want. But he's just not what we need.

However there's a 75% chance we miss out on some quality free agents while Morey and Les sit around waiting for Durant to announce where he's signing.

With a 108M cap and a 1+1 deal, his starting max salary starts at 35M, and Westbrook's max will start at 30M. Kanter is on the books for 17M.

Ibaka, Adams, and Roberson will be free agents and getting paid as well. Are any of those guys going to take pay cuts? They paid 15M in luxury tax this season, but will they be willing to pay more to keep those guys? I wish I knew.

Agree 100%! Now he'll sign a 2 year contract (2nd yr player option) with OKC & see how they do. Then he'll opt out & sign a max contract somewhere when the cap jumps to 1B!

OP! What the fire truck, gives you the right to vote 37% in your poll of 0, 25, 50, 75 & 100% options! I voted 0%.
