The vacation thread reminded me - I'm going to Mexico over Memorial Day Weekend! I know a lot of people from here have been down there before - can you tell me what tours you had the most fun on and perhaps how you got a good deal on them? Right now we are planning on doing a Coba Pa-chen tour that has rappelling, a zip-line, and some canoeing in it, and we are also going to go to Xel-Ha. We are staying at the Occidental Grand XCaret, so we are getting into Xcaret for free one day.
I took the Tulum, Xcaret, XelHa tour several years ago....it was very nice. I visited Playa Del Carmen 2 weeks ago....it was awesome, but very commercialized now. The Chichen Itza wasnt that great.
