Stolen idea from the other thread.

    - Sonic/Electric Toothbrush. Seemed like an unneeded expensive change at first but turned out to be a near orgasmic, dentist clean mouth daily.

    - Iron Gym Pull Up Bar. Was thinking this was another gimmick but I thought having a pull up bar that you can take down might be nice. Ended up very satisfied and impressed by its sturdiness and redirection of force to support weight.

This doesn't count as really surprising... but the utility of having a laptop/wireless/printer/fast internet is just a must now for my home. Such a needed time saver and basic resource medium.

Magic-jack. Works great on out of country calls when folks don't have the means to use the Internet to talk (e.g. SKYPE).

    The nadachair. www.nadachair.com

I have tried everything in the past 20 years to correct my posture while sitting at a desk. I can't tell you how many different CHAIRS I have bought in that time; arm-less, back-less, motion-less, extra lumbar support, and that doesn't even get into the number of different types of pillows I've used.

The one purchase I haven't made is the "ball" chair...heard good things about them.

BUT, and apologies for digressing, this Nada-Chair is frikin' fantastic. It's not really a chair, but straps. My lumbar is supported by two straps that wrap around the knees. It took a few days for my back to adjust to the "correct" postition, but after that, it's been pure heaven.

Hell, if you're sitting in a stadium with seats without backs, well, this is absolutely a must have. At their website you'll find that they make different version for different occasions, like driving even. They also have one for kids.

If any of you are experiencing lower back pain because of continuous sitting, please do yourself a favor and check out this device. Even the cost makes it easy to give this a try.

I've had lower back problems because of posture too. That thing looks silly though. What kind of reactions do you get at the office?

30 gb Zune for $99 during the Christmas sales last year. The software sometimes has me toying with trichotillomania, it's unbelievably frustrating to get media on the player sometimes.

Bright side is 99 bucks for 30gb that plays movies, podcasts, and is hackable to play all kinds of games is hard to beat. I never go anywhere without it.

    Total Shaving Solution

Been using it for about 8 years. Always had razor burn pretty badly and started looking online for some type of oil instead of a cream or gel. Takes some getting used to, but haven't had razor burn since. And everyperson that has tried it on this board can thank me for introducing it years ago.

Amazon Kindle - I read a ton and I absolutely love it.

Old school razor and shaving brush - I get the best shave ever and I don't have to buy the expensive freaking blades. It took a little getting used to but once you do it is just as easy with a better shave. I never get razor burn and the bumps anymore. Here's a good site if you are more interested http://www.classicshaving.com/Home.html

A 12 foot bong...which can only be used upstairs near the stairwell. Someone has to stay downstairs to light it. ;)
