Here's what happened. I had an Xbox 360 at my apartment hooked up to my roommate's tv in the living room from the beginning of the semester. We used my xbox, but now I can't find it. He said he brought his xbox back from home when he went home the first time, and that he left mine sitting out in the living room, but he never told me "hey man, here is your xbox back" He had multiple friends come over, however I don't think they took it, I think he was drunk one night, and took it to someone else's house to play. He wouldn't call his friends to see if one of them had it, so now I'm determined to find it. He left San Antonio yesterday after me because I was pissed off, and now I am in Houston and thinking about going back to take the door hinges off his door and look for it there in case he does have it. Should I file a police report?
I guess it is pointless to ask if you had any identifiable marks on your XBox or paperwork that has your serial number on it...
While I'm trying to find the box with the serial number, I'm going to make him pay the $200 since he put the xbox where someone could take it, and I know he knows where its at, thanx for the suggestions
So it turned out that my roommate moved out over Christmas break and left his valuable Godfather pictures here. He came back tonight wanting his pictures back, and I got into with him, not physically, yet, but I wouldnt let him take back the pictures without paying me for him breaking my xbox while he was drunk. After he left, he started texting me that I better give him his pictures back. Then he texted that it wasn't fair that I accused him of it
wait wait wait.. you skipped some chapters. Last thing you said was that the xbox was missing. Now you're saying he broke it? what happened with the xbox?
I put it together that when his friends were over here, they were drunk and broke it, because one night I heard a loud crashing noise, and it wasnt a broken glass, which i should have gotten up to see about. Nobody broke in the apartment. So the only person who knows what happened is my ex roommate, and i know its broken because why else would the remoteless controller be there if someone random was to take it?
what's a used xbox cost? get another one and call that the fee for finding out your "friend" is a jackass.
So, it's the same scenario no matter he put it elsewhere or broke it, you shall ask him to pay for what he's done. Otherwise you just smoke him!
Sounds like you should do a better job of watching your stuff.(You made a similar thread recently saying some of your stuff was stolen or something to that effect)
