I had a crush on this girl named Genesis in the 7th grade. She had a great body. She liked me too but we never hit it off for some reason. But I'm happily married now.
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The SNES version didn't allow for two player for some stupid reason, but the Sega versions did.
It was all about the EA sports games for me....NHL Hockey, Bulls vs. Lakers et al., NCAA football and Madden. Also liked RBI baseball and Tecmo Super Bowl. Yes, this was the game where the players would excitedly run out of the hospital when healthy, and Barry Sanders was essentially a witch!
Dude, whatever. Growing up, besides owning Nintendo products, I was a TurboGrafx fanboy. I had the add-on CD player and even the kickass TurboExpress mobile game system. Bonk's Adventure + Moon Madness FTW.
I had a sega growing up, never have owned till this day a nintendo system. used play though all the time on my best friends across the street...anyways: sonic series (1,2,3,sonic and knuckles) jurassic park (was the first game I got and you got to play as the raptor) MK1 streets of rage vectorman golden ax/gauntlet nba jam TE bubsy earthworm jim altered beast
No ORder: Sonic the Hedgehog (1,2,3, spinball) Vectorman Street Fighter II: championship Edition Tecmo Super Bowl 3: Final Edition Strider Prince of Persia Revenge of Shinobi X-Men II: The Clone Wars (before Star Wars) Splatterhouse II Robocop vs. Terminator
Four Words: Jerry Glanville's Pigskin Footbrawl I also enjoyed this blatant Zelda ripoff: And of course, Shining Force II for the MTFW:
Streets of Rage series Thunderforce 3 Shinobi series (Revenge, Shadow Dancer, 3) Golden Axe NHLPA 93 Strider
Great thread! 1. Sonic 2 - for me, this was the best in the series. It took everything that was good in the first game and jacked it up to 11, the perfect sequel. 2. Shining Force 2 - I've never been a big RPG fan, but I absolutely love this series. 3. NBA Live 96 - I probably spent more time with this game than any other. Loved that you could use the hidden legends in season mode and make All-Time teams. 4. Sonic the Hedgehog - eclipsed by its sequel, but it's still a good pick up and play experience, and has a great soundtrack 5. Streets of Rage - I've read the sequels are better, but for whatever reason I didn't spend too much time with them. 6. Street Fighter II SCE - was the best console experience in the brief span of time before Super Street Fighter 2 came to the SNES. 7. Jurassic Park - loved playing as the velociraptor. 8. Maximum Carnage - okay, just a poor man's Final Fight, but being able to play as Venom was absolute win for a dorky fanboy like me back in 1994. 9. The Haunting Starring Polterguy - kind of obscure, and doesn't hold up, but was a blast back in the day. 10. Spider-Man (1991 version) - underrated game. The first Spidey game to successfully incorporate web-swinging and photo-taking for the Daily Bugle. And how awesome was the Sega Channel?!
Just off the top of my head: NBA Live 95 - I was unbeatable at this game. Sonic The Hedgehog 1 & 2 - oh how far the hedgehog has fallen. Toe Jam and Earl - stupid humans. Castle of Illusion and Michael Jackson's Moonwalker - yeah I said it. Out of this World - this game was hard as ****. Tecmo Super Bowl - or any tecmo bowl really. Zombies ate my neighbors - awesome. and some game were you controlled different soldiers (one was a machine gun guy, the other a grenade guy, etc. etc.) Don't remember the name though. I'm sure there are more.
