What about the ~5 seconds we are owed?

From the clock NOT BEING STARTED when the Blazers took the ball up court during the fourth (allowed them to go 2 for 1). I don't understand why the refs didn't stop play and correct the clock or have the Blazers take it back and inbound again. There's no way that wasn't noticed. Seriously - I've never seen a major clock violation go unheralded like that... Completely changed one of the most crucial portions of the game.

Are we able to appeal the loss on these grounds? That compounded w/ the .8 seconds has got to point to shot clock manipulation by the home team.

question- would Yao have had 1.9 to turn and shoot if that error had been corrected?

We don't know that. That's a hypothetical question - the fact is that the Blazers gained 4 seconds that they benefited from unfairly.

Question, would Roy have made that shot before Yao?

I wheezed/screamed like a little girl when Roy's shot went in, my friend couldn't stop laughing.

We dunno what the games outlook would have been had the clock been corrected. ** Sorry - misinterpreted the question.
