Mike Gansey would be a great option if hes still on the board because he can flat out shoot. We need shooters like a crackhead needs crack. I think he would fit in perfect coming off the bench, providing another offensive option.

I highly doubt it. He will be taken low in the first round with some team maybe taking a gamble on him. The guy is going to be at best a bench player and never really be a starter in the NBA. I still say he goes first round but really late in the first round.

probly before that. kareem rush was projected to be similar in the NBA. shooter, not much else. drafted end 1st rnd. Except reddick is a better shooter and from a winning program

on draft day, I always think you should draft the best player on the board and then use free agency to fill in your voids

let's think about teams that have had good drafts in years past, what do they do with their picks? Do they try to find answers with the draft or do they just seek NBA talent? Someone that they are certain will see the floor?

uconn's rashad anderson, 6-5, 220 and can stroke it from behind the arc. and at that size he could develop into a starter (similar to redd) instead of being only limited to the specialist that he would be his rookie year.

2nd Rounder: draft a 'future' to be stashed for a year or two or combine with Lotto pick to move up 3-5 slots for 'the guy you really want'.

Definitely Mike Gansey - guy can flat out shoot, was the team's top rebounder, plays harder than any other player on the floor, and has a really high basketball IQ.

i dont like jj reddick.. just like gerry mcnamara, good college players but not enough talent/physical gifts to be good in the nba.. end of rotation players at best.... lets go for players with more upside than them...

    2nd rounder?

Give me Kevin Pittsnogle or Steve Novak. Big guys with that kind of range and accuracy don't come along very often and shooting off the bench is something we've obviously been severely lacking.

While Pittsnoggle's shooting is impressive, is he really all that much better than someone like Padget?

yeah but Kareem rush is a lot more Athletic and can play defense a bit better than Reddick. Reddick is a one trick dog...he has nothing else going for him.

Face it... With the new age rules its going to be a weak draft. Might as well trade the 2nd rounder for gas money. If our hopes for next season start depending on the 2nd round then I quit.

UConn has two solid second round swingmen prospects: Denham Brown and Rashad Anderson.

I've been saying Gansey for a while now. I'd love that pick.

He's undersized and not overly athletic. Also he's 24 and has virtually no upside.
