With Oscar's slump from the second half of last year continuing into the Summer League, do you guys think it is at all possible to keep both Tierre & Tito? Maddux has the size and defensive capabilities to play some SG why can't we keep both? Tierre likes to shoot a lot & Tito likes to pass a lot so I think they could both work w/ limited roles on the team.

I doubt both will make the team.

    1.No it is not possible
2."Maddux has the size and defensive capabilities to play some SG"
--NO HE DOES NOT, why the heck do people keep saying this. Just because he's 6'4 doesn't mean he can play 2, he can't shoot at all. Pure PG with minimal offense...like floaters and penetration on the break...
3.We can't keep both because neither one plays SG. One of these will end up being 3rd string PG, and I guess if Rudy was stupid they could run 3 guards due to Rudy's loved mismatches, but that would be really dumb
4.Tierre likes to pass as well, he is trying to prove something else right now.
5.Regretfully, I have the feeling that no matter what Tierre did he'd be gone. They don't even mention him. They are too high on Tito. They're both decent players, but this is all over a 3rd string position so it doesn't really matter. I've already seen what Tierre did in the NBA. I've seen what Tito did in college. They actually are pretty comparable, but Tierre is hands down a better scorer and honestly not much worse if at all with ballhandling and passing.

Anyways, if Steve & Cat are healthy we just need a back-up SG. This 3rd string PG is for emergencies. Regretfully the Rockets staff for some insane reason thinks Tito can play 2, but that's silly. He isn't Michael Redd, he isn't Bobby Jackson, I think we should keep Tierre but it probably isn't happening.
    Oh well...
