Well then, my last post on Tyson Chandler was a success it was just a suggestion, he is a baller and I figured that the Bulls would have something to offer him. He has plenty of time later to make the big bucks and if I were him I would sacrifice that to be on a good team. For the Bulls he isn't a huge impact but on the right team he could be much more of a threat. My other suggestion is Gerald Wallace. The boy can ball, hes young and has great potential, I would rather throw money to someone that can develope and grow than some one that will just grow old. Wallace is more of a threat offensively and would make a good back up for T-Mac. His numbers he put up last season were decent, 11.1 PPG and 5.5 RPG 2.0 APG. I know, I know hes another restricted free agent and hes in the same conference but still thats the kinda players I would like to bring into our organization.
Are you sure you know? He's a Bobcat and the Bobcats are in the Southeast division of the Eastern Conference.
really don't see him in a rockets uniform. he's a great athlete but has never developed a jumper and has never become the defender he's capable of becoming. an average player and great athlete but not what we need.
I've been watching this guy since he was in alabama and Sac, and I believe that JVG can mold him into a great defender. Some of his numbers for steals and blocks were phenomenal, and they mostly came from his freakish athleticism. He needs a jumper badly, but with the right coach, he can turn into a badass.
Wallace is a great athlete and that is a huge plus. But I think the big downside for him on the Rockets is his lack of shooting. I think that alone would hurt him on the Rockets. Why not go after someone that is just about as atheltic and can shoot....like someone like...oh I dont know.....Bobby Simmons.
There is no NBA player in his right mind under 27 that would put aside the desire to get paid for winning. Putting winning ahead of a multi million dollar long term guaranteed contract only works for veterans like Gary Payton and Karl Malone.
I saw tons of this guy in Sacramento. Nice player, underrated rebounder, pretty good defender. He'll never be able to shoot though, trust me. That's too much of a detriment to this team.
