The only reason that I have Lewis 3rd string, because trying to have all three new players in going to be close to impossible. The first two I would like are Vince and Tim. Then get Lewis. (It's just an idea.) If this were to happen I think that many good players around the leaugue would love to play on this team,(young, fast and with skills) and since Lewis wants to come home anyway it should be easy at this point if we have the other two players. If this were to happen I would believe that Lewis would have to take less money than the max. I don't think the Rockets have enough money for all three.

The only changes I would make is, get Shaq to demand a trade, you forgot we need to sign Webber, have Barkley and MJ come out of retirement and suit back up, and then....

wake up and realize it is time to seek counseling.......

 

Why get Shaq when Duncan is better and can spell his own name.
With the low chances of getting either player, I see a better chance of getting Vince here, than Webber. (Just a Hunch)
Barkley and Jordan can just keep on playing Golf and maybe join the PGA someday.

I think you guys are forgetting who it is you're talking about. Cuttino's crazy, and everyone in the NBA thinks he's funnny, but I don't see Vince forming any real bonds to Cuttino. He's nutso!

The Raptors negative publicity on a segment on NBA Today is going to sway Mobley to stay here in Houston. All this trade stuff with Cuttino and the Raptors may help us in the long run because, with Vince and Cuttino are talking everyday, this may come in handy next year when Cuttino may be calling Vince to get him to come to Houston with Duncan and Francis(of course this is all just hypotetical)but I can see some reality in this thought!
Now back to the Raptors.
It was only a matter of time that Toronto was going to get nailed for all the things that have happen to the franchise.
1st Butch Carter Hacked!
2nd T-Mac going home to Mickey
3rd all of a sudden the Rators are a old and aging team without T-Mac.
They have tried to fix things with Lenny Wilkens, but that will not be enough. Carter is way to good to stay in Toronto after this year, remember he also wants the money that Jordan makes and has made in a big market city. When he sees T-Mac next year get a S***load of publicity plus the big contract, Vince is going to start thinking about his future. This will only get worst if the Raptors have a bad season.
We may have a chance to get Vince and Duncan next year together, similar to T-Mac and Hill in Orlando.

What do you all thing about that?

Um, a couple of things are wrong with that. Carter won't be a free agent next year- the Raptors hold the option to pick up his contract for another season, and they'll obviously do so. And Duncan announced he will sign a multi-year contract with the Spurs already.

On your lineup, Duncan does not want to play center, Vince Carter is not even close in any way to a PF, and Shandon is not a SF.

Vince may force a trade to get out of there after they bomb next season without Mobley or Tmac while seeing all his teammate making retirement plans. Duncan is only signing a 3 year deal to make SA feel good, but he will not stick around with that ageing program also. With some patience and alot of luck this could happen.
