As I lok at some off the proposed trades the Rockets are inquiring about, I list a couple of moves that could be made. Mookie Blaylock: Good on ball defender, a solid back-up, used to be starter, veteran. Also he is in the last year or 2 of his contract. Instead of paying Moochie 4mil to back up Franchise, why not just get Blaylock. He's a better defender and could spell Steve for those 10 mins per. Plus we wouldn't be locked into a another long term contract. Jim Jackson: big strong combo player, very good ballhandler, cheap! He has been traveled alot since his 25pt/per scoring days, but the guy is still just 30. He can back up Mobley, If Mobley gets hurt (we hope he doen't) he can start. Very good passer which always help. If Steve gets hot or when you want Steve to gets free to score, you can let him handle the offense and let Steve play the 2. Jackson at this point could probaly be had for the veterans min $1mil.

To me, instead of getting locked in with Norris and Sura to long term deals for guys who will play probably 10-15 min per, Jackson and Blaylock could be very good alternatives.

I like a Blaylock for Williams deal and still pick up Moochie. I think that balances the front and backcourt better than it is now.

I wouldn't mind having Blaylock. He would be a great veteran for this team to have.

Wouldn't trading Williams for Blaylock defeat the purpose of compensating GS for Jackson in the first place? Wasn't the idea that we'd trade an expiring contract for a long one, not a short one for another short one?

I would trade for Mookie Blaylock. Surely anyone like Walt Williams or Moochie Norris or Dan Langhi.

But would Golden State really release Mookie Blaylock? Who will play point guard for the Warriors? Are they crazy?

A trade for Mookie for be good for the Rockets.

Didn't Blaylock and GS management get sideways last year?

Actually the way the rockets have been working lately i think they will definately get mookie and keep mooch. as it is we are trying to corner the msarket on Mos moos and such i the league

sure im being silly, but with a t-mo, a mo-t, a mooch, and a mobley, a mookie would be a welcome addition

    peace
