The team in black jersy played excellent basketball! The big guy No.21 always got ball at the low lost. He killed his defender in one on one play, coz he's tall, strong, fundamentally sound, got great footwork and soft touch.

Then the home team tried to double him with a MD. You know what? No. 21 is a great passer also. His teammate just kept running and running, setting numerous picks till he passed out of the double team. I saw a 39 years old guy got fed under the basket and threw down a thunder!

The coach of the black team was somehow scary.... He yelled at his point guard and benched him when he played like a ****. Then the young guy came our of second half like a disciplined warrior.

I thought the team was Houston Rockets, coz they played like what the media said about Rockets. Isn't the guy No.21 from China? The point guard is very talented. was he the starting PG in this year's west allstar team? The coach is damn good. I thought he had two rings already.

Well... my friend told me that wasn't Rockets playing. He said next year the Rockets should play like that. I was excited when hearing this.

i don't know, the no. 21 guy didn't do near enough pump-faking or passing when guarded by a 6-9 guy. also way too much aggressiveness to be that guy on the rockets.

I keep thinking about what Kobe said, and more and more I believe he's going to have a historical season next year.

The thing with Kobe is, he goes into the offseason, and you wonder: How can he possibly improve? What can he do better?

Guess what. He surprised us EVERY season and came out a better player EVERY time.

Look for Kobe to win at least 2 trophies next year (team and individual).

Did you see the fire in his eyes? He won 3 Championships in a row, took ALL the shots he wanted, yet, when he goes out of the playoffs, KNOWING they didn't have home court advantage, he cries. I can't remember exactly but he said he never wants to feel this again.

    THAT's a competitor. THAT's a winner. THAT's a champion.

Lakers next year for sure. They'll have an awesome regular season after one semi-major signing/trade, and then will go on a tear of the league.

It's really too bad seeing the better team go out because of injuries.

I saw the Spur eliminated the lakers last night. What a great game. I also see that Kobe is determine to get better, he sounds like he's really hurt that his team is done.

Kobe said, "the offseason starts today..." he means he's going to work on his stuff come tomorrow.

Even if the lakers start playing well in regular season, I don't see them challenge the spurs or Kings, Mavs in a while. The whole team is getting the old, the young guys are not there yet. Even with their entire roster healthy and rested, they would have trouble beating the spurs in 7 game series. Look for San Antonio to dominate in years to come. (They got a really unstoppable big man, guards that can flat out play)

    Lakers are gone!!:)
I dont think that they will be back anytime soon. Shaq's body is wearing down. He is still a true dominant force, but he is wearing down and I think that his best days and unjury free days are behind him. Kobe cannot carry that team. He proved that the first of the year. He is an unbelievable player, but cannot carry a team.

Anyways.......I hope the Rockets can someday become like the Spurs.

Yao Ming is always guarded by someone 6 inches shorter than him. I don't know why he can't do anything...get stronger and be more aggressive...

    Coach!!!!!!!!!! Do something!

    Let Boki play!

I like the Lakers. Yes they are so good that they make you hate them. I agree with Sane. It is sad to see the better team go down because of injuries. Kobe is a champion. Francis needs to be like that. I want yao and Francis to both have that fire. If that is what Phil Jackson plugs into the minds of these lakers then that is the type of coaching our team needs. We have the parts with some needing to be traded. All we need is that fire. It is sad when the 40 yr old guys want it more than the younger guys. It is even sadder when the fans want it more than the team does. This season I want to see FIRE in this organization's eyes. I want them to trade anyone but Yao and Francis. If we have to trade francis it better be for a kobe or a mcgrady or for a kidd. The rest of the team should be bait.

Yeah, I was thinking that our Rockets could definitely model themselves similar to this year's Spurs. Dominant big man ... he's getting there. Steve Francis is already better than Tony Parker. Everyone talks about what a night he had ... but it was only 19 points (on 9-19 shooting), 1 rebound and 5 assists. If Francis did that, we'd talk about what a poor game he had.

What we don't have is a Ginobili type and a hustle guy. Man, I hate Malik Rose, but we need a hustler like him.

What really irritated me about the game was while the Spurs were killing the Lakers by almost 30 points, all the freaking announcers could talk about was Lakers this and Lakers that ... what the Lakers were doing wrong and what they can do next season to improve. Hello, how about a little love for the team who's killing them?!?

Wait, what forum is this again? ;)

We traded our hustle guy. KT. Posey hustles but is more of a guard/forward type.

We do need a Ginobili type.

If you were Karla, would you go to the Lakers, Spurs or Mavs next year? Personally, if I were him, I would go to the Spurs (with DRob retiring), and play double PF with Duncan.

    sane and tycoon,

The Lakers were not the better team and they didn't go out because of injuries. The Spurs were clearly the better team even with George and Fox healthy. The Spurs beat the healthy Lakers in the regular season too. Besides, there're always injuries in the playoffs. The Lakers have been very lucky in this regard in the past three years.

Look at the Kings. They lost Peja last year and still took the Lakers to 7 games. They lost Webber this year and still take the Mavs to 7 games. Fox and George aren't even their #3 option.
