And Jason Terry confirms: Devin Harris is an elite flopper. He said he's only second to Genobili, and rates Chris Paul as the third biggest flopper in the league. So Houston fans, you're vindicated...
floppers take turns. among active players, dirk was the biggest flopper, literally and figuratively. then he cut it down some and here comes manu. manu has cut it down a little and then devin harris comes in. chris paul is next.
I must stick up for Oberto, who doesn't get the credit he deserves for flopping. He's better than both Manu and Devin Harris. Just because he's a borderline scrub player doesn't mean he should be overlooked as a flopper. I'll grant one thing about Devin Harris: More than the others, he acts like he's hurt after a flop. Chris Paul, Manu and Oberto usually just get up off the ground either immediately or after a few seconds. Harris will often lay down and feign injury.
Paul is also well on his way to being the dirtiest player. Once Bruce Bowen retires Paul will take the crown. His hammer fist to the jewels move is a classic.
seconded. on rebounds he usually pushes a player in the back a lot. now chandler is starting to do it.
The NBA in general needs to crack down on this. Utah probably has an entire chapter in their playbook dedicated to this type of foul. I see the refs try to call it sometimes, but they might only call 10% of the actual fouls taking place. For most of the year Scola was the victim of these fouls, and then I started to see him do it to others by the end. Live and learn. Until the NBA gets its act together.
I never really noticed this about CP3 at the beginning of the season since I only watched an entire game a few times, but I started to notice it later lol. He is pretty cheap at times aye but still my favourite non-Rocket in the league atm >_< and this is pretty much an issue with like a lot of sports lol
watching scola floping too, (only at the ending of the season) you can tell that he adjusted the types of call refs would call. so, i guess what the players are doing is for their own advantage and if no one is going to stop them, i guess they can keep doing that. which sucks, because i actually think david stern thinks that flopping is some kind of beautiful art... they have a convention over that hack a shaq crap... but nothing over flopping, ridicilous.
I work with a few guys who are casual NBA fans. They all thought highly of Chris Paul entering the playoffs. I was the lone dissenter. Half way through the SA/NO series they all jumped off the CP3 bandwagon and branded the guy as dirty and someone they could not root for anymore.
Chris Paul is right up there with Manu. This is one reason I don't like him that much, outside his feud with Rafer.
Casual fans? We have vet posters kissing Paul's rear, proclaiming he will be the greatest PG ever in that Chris Paul thread. Now that was when NO up the spurs by 2-0. I was the among the first to question that.
