A true throwback matchup if I've ever seen one. Sloan vs. Popovich. Should be incredibly physical, which to me at least means tons of fun to watch.

    Fun Times Ahead! :D

    Oh, and Go Detroit!

Deeee-troit! Baaaas-kettt-ball! I sat by a bunch of Pistons fans when they played in the Toyota Center last. I told them I hoped to see them again in June. I still do, just now it'll have to be on television.

And now, in our super heavyweight division...let's get ready to ruuuummmmble!

Boozer vs Duncan. Boozer has the crazy high arching jumpshot. Duncan likes the off the glass shot. Both are great rebounders. Boozer is faster, Duncan is too good in the post. They will finally meet their match. I give the edge to Duncan w/ a knockout in the 6th.

I don't care if they 'throwback' so far they hang peach baskets at either end :) it doesn't matter a whole lot.

Two teams I don't care about, or even like, and two teams as a Rocket fan I shouldn't like = pretty meaningless WCF.

I don't even have a team to root for (i.e. dislike less).

I'd imagine the audience isn't going to be too big either. Ah well. This year just kinda ends with a 'meh'.

Yeah, I guess I should pick a team in this series. I don't hate the Spurs, so it'll have to be them. Wow, though, that makes me feel dirty. I just hope the Pistons sweep them when they get to the Finals.

It's like Mr. T vs. Drago...a true heavyweight slugfest.

Never thought I would ever say this, but, Go Jazz!

I just can't get behind this evil Spurs team and I don't hate the current Jazz as much as I did in the Malone era.

But, regardless of who wins, I'll be hoping for an Eastern Conference champion this year.

if i had to choose a team to root for i would surely have to go to the jazz. you have to like their insane depth. everyone on that team is efficient in some way (their starters and etc.) even though i hate them for dispatching us in the first round, that loss really brought out our weakness which i thought was depth. they have deron, fisher, okur (okay the guy is r****ded and i dont like him much but he can shoot 3's and sort of rebound), boozer, and ak47. then bring in milsap and harpring and you have some pretty good hustle players. its going to be a much more physical match up than it was with us and the jazz. sadly though im pretty sure that the "I'm above the rules" spurs will probably end victorious just because they have way more playoff experience. i hope Cleaveland beats the pistons by sweeping them that way billups can get out of there and come here :D

go jazz? (man i wanted the suns to win...T_T theres the system for ya)

I can't see the Jazz getting past the Spurs.

Then again, I couldn't see the Jazz getting past the Rockets either.

THEN AGAIN, Tony Parker has more heart in his pinky than Tracy McGrady has in his whole body! And the Spurs have Robert Horry too. Spurs have the heart of a champion!

Spurs in 5! God Bless Texas. Remember the Alamo!

This should go to 7 games.

As much as I hate to admit it, the Spurs were derided as getting too old and unathletic, but here they are again.

    Anyway- go Detroit!

Is it possible for both teams to lose? I can't decide who I hate more.

    Go Jazz!

I think if Utah wins game 1, they take the series in 6. It's very possible, since the Spurs will be tired coming off a pretty long series with the Suns and Utah has had a few days to rest.

If Utah loses, I think the series goes to 6 or 7 with the Spurs ultimately having the edge.

Spurs in 5. 6 at the most. Williams and Boozer have no advantages. The Spurs will advance, and hopefully my main man Rob will get his 7th ring (since the Rockets are out of it).

I agree they won't sweep. In fact I won't be totally surprised if the Jazz end up upsetting them. I do hope that Duncan and Co will win the series because I would like to see the Pistons and the Spurs in the final again with Detroit winning it all.

1st game on Sunday, I think the Spurs are a little bit tired after tonight's game. There is a great possibility the Spurs will lose in game 1. If the Spurs lose game 1, the Spurs will win the series in 6. Otherwise, the Spurs will win the series in 5.

Boozer vs Duncan is not a good match up. Boozer has no quickness or power advantage over Duncan. Duncan will have a good advantage on this match up. If Mehmet Okur doesnt have good games, this series will finish quick.

Spurs in 5/6 depends on game 1.
