This thread is bound to come up.

I thought he looked great on D. He does not get beat off the dribble. For his size, he makes bigger guys give up their shot better than anyone else.

Can't really judge his offense yet since he didn't look for his shot and he probably doesn't know our plays yet.

Unlike JJ, Wesley force up some shots every now and then, hopfully this problem will be solved after he learned our plays.

I didn't see any forced shots. Are you talking about the transition 3 he took? We wanted to take earlier shots right? If no one is guarding you, and you can shoot, shoot it.

He MOVED well out there for us and did some traffic directing also... For not knowing our system he did a good job on D and could have been better on his shooting, but that could still work its way in..

He plays good defense. He looks bigger than his listed height of 6-1. He swished that one shot really nicely. Other plays, he just stood at the 3 point line..that's not his fault he hasn't even practiced with us yet. But he can shoot that's for sure. He won't hurt us on offensel ike Ryan Bowen can..:)

I like him..I like Jon Barry too.

I don't really like Juwan..I like Mo more than Juwan..well for this game I did.

The Rockets are 1-0 in games in which Wesley plays for them! :)

I liked his defense. He was a bit trigger happy though.

I have always like Wesley as a player, he is quick and tough, and is a decent shooter.

I think he is a better fit than JJ, and am glad we have him....but I wish we could have gotten PJ for Mo...we need rebounding badly.

Wesley use to make me mad hitting 3's against the Rockets. Hopefully, he can give us what we miss by trading Cuttino. On a side note, I watched some of the New Orleans game against the Suns tonight. Nachbar played well. He will do much better in New Orleans than he did in Houston because of their style of play.

Good thing is, he had one play called for him, and he made the shot. His only shot made. It was a catch and shoot off of a screen. It made a sound I've never heard before from our role players....a really really loud swiiiish.

We do need rebounding badly. How about Troy Murphy anyone?? Juwan Howard for Troy Murphy?

I would take PJ Brown or Troy Murphy realistically, but of course you could dream about trading Juwan Howard for Lamar Odom or Drew Gooden or Zach Randolph or some other power rebounder.

If only you had a magic button that you could push to get these trades done.

Juwan Howard for Troy Murphy, Lamar Odom, Drew Gooden or Zach Randolp.

    Sweet!! Not going to happen.
