7-8 from 3. He's definitely justifying the fat stack of cash he received over the summer. Much respect to Matthews. From rags to riches... undrafted in '09 to not only starting for a playoff contender, but carrying a heavy load offensively (15 PPG).

He was playing against the T-pups, one of the worst defensive backcourts in the league. They allow many guards to score new season highs. The other night, he scored only 9 pts on 4-12 shooting against the Rockets.
He is on my fantasy team, so I know he has been consistently beasting since Roy went down. He is mostly good for points and steals, but he shoots a high % from FG, 3pt, and FTs, it's pretty impressive for an undrafted FA.
