Were you calm and confident when Harden sat?

And felt uneasy and a bit afraid when he was about to come in?
I was, the bench Brigade gets better and better by the day, and I never thought I would say I like Beverley's playmaking.

Increasing or holding the lead, playing with composure, moving bodies and the ball, just beautiful work of Mike and the guys.

Yes, very confident in the bench.

Best Rockets bench since, maybe ever. We have a bonafide All-Star in Gordon, with a bunch of scrappy, high energy guys. They're lacking some size, but that's the only weaknesses; and that weakness could be temporary if we add a big. The '95 group might be better due added championship experience.

No, I'm typically always wanting for Harden to come in 2 minutes earlier than he usually does.

I always check to see if Brewers still sitting. If so, I put down my hyperventilation paper bag

Our best rebounders are Beverley and Dekker besides Capela and Harden.

I love seeing those two hustle for the rebound to give our team the second chance points.

Giving the ball to Gordon ensures that he will make a play that will turn into points.

Once Capela is back in the rotation, Harrell will give our team the boost of energy from the bench when it's lacking.

So far I love our bench --- easily one of the best in the NBA.

To be real, the only time I'm not calm now is when Brewer has the ball in his hands.

Not sure about ever. Few years back we had a bench of Lowry, Landry, Moutombo Von Wafer (when he was good) and even tmac before he opted for the microfracture surgery...

I'm confident when the bench is in but other than a rare occasion, it's always better when Harden checks back in. Something would be wrong if you had that feeling often.

don't think bench was any better based on versatility especially with a bonafide scorer like EG

The bench is awesome, and Harden makes some mistakes sometimes. But please don't ever think you want the bench to close the game instead of having Harden on the court. I will take Harden on the floor 24/7/365 even with his mistakes. He gives us a better chance to win more likely than not by a wide margin. Anything else would be just guessing or gambling with your team's success.

Don't be so dogmatic! Game of Basketball is so anti-dogma. Some days he just doesn't have it and others play so beautiful and (even better!) without him.

I understand what you are saying, but unless Harden has 20+ turnovers, is 0 for 20 shooting, is sick and/or hurt, if I'm the coach, I'm putting him back into every game to close if we are trying to win. Sure I will be wrong sometimes, but most of the time not. Plus, playing him or not playing him has consequences that go beyond winning or losing the game.

Yeah I didn't exactly want him to come back in but he just payed really well when he did come in. He actually moved and the ball didn't get stagnant. He needs to keep doing that in the 4th

Harden has yet to fully commit to the offense especially in the 4th quarter, when he is on, it doesn't matter, when he is off, like the Spurs it can be a killer.

Fortunately he is on more often than off....but games like the Spurs can help him grow and realize how much better they are when he commits to moving the ball quickly up the floor, either on the bounce or the pass.

The bench has been really great. Do we have one of the best benches in the league statistically? Sure feels like they have dominated at least the last few opponents' bench.
