    Jefferson has better stats then griffin and collins just did double double when he starts with 18 points and 12 boards. Armstrong is bust but Jefferson is faster and can do sick dunks so we should of keeped him

    I agree we still have to wait, Griffin just started getting quality minutes and he is young so we do need to wait it out.

    Jefferson= role player
    Collins= role player

    Griffin = potential superstar

    Whenever you can trade two role players for a star, you do it. I thought it was a great trade on draft day, and I'm even more convinced now. After watching Eddie at 19 years old putting up these huge numbers, he seems to have superstar written all over him. Potentially, this trade may be more lopsided than the one that got us Steve Francis three years ago.

    OK, which would you take?

    M. Dickerson
    O. Harrington

    or

    S. Francis

    OK now, do we all see eye to eye yet?

    Here's another idea, who would rather have Haywood than Curry. Sure Haywood is playing great and putting up good stats, but does anyone doubt that Curry isn't better.

    I'd take a composed Haywood that's playing with desire over Curry. The biggest knock on Brendan's always been that he's soft and didn't play hard. Well he's always had the talent to be a dominating center but never got it in his mind to do it. Now that he's playing with focus and intensity, he's a great pickup and a player to watch in the future.

    And how much of Haywood's new-found desire and consistency is related to being on the floor with MJ? I hope that Haywood continues to improve and be a solid inside presence, but don't deny the Jordan factor.

    Now I'm going to take a shower. I feel dirty for even posting in this absurd thread. :mad:

    In 2-3 years, Griffin will be a 22 year old superstar.

    Seriously, For a 19 year old to be putting up these kind of numbers in his rookie season is flat out scary . Eddie Griffin will be an all-star for many years in this league .

    Is this a serious thread?

    Anytime you can trade role players for a potential superstar, that is highway robbery.

    We could probaly use Collins but Jefferson is way overhyped on this board. I watched alot of that game. Most of their points came off Kidds passing them the ball with only a layup to go or going against the scrubs in the 4th quarter.

    Terrance Morris would be a double-double guy if he played with Kidd. Eddie Griffin is a double double guy playing with Steve and Cuttino. Now that is impressive...:rolleyes:

    I think the French ripped us off in the Louisiana Purchase.
