It can't be this bad, I remember JVG played every game like it was the NBA championship and not Rick appears to be cruising through the regular season. I think the Rockets are going to pull a fast one in the playoffs and take a trip to the WCF or NBA Finals. I see it happening and have faith in Morey to get RA the players who won't want to run the offense and play D every night. Amare isn't the answer, we don't need anymore O. We need the D to step up and I would love to see Tmac go to the bench or IR. I would like to see Ron and Battier along with Landry start with AB and Yao. We need our D back bad and RA must be held accountable to make changes immediately.
I just don't share the same optimism that you do. This team has been exposed for what it is and all that it lacks. That is going to be even more glaring when/if the Rockets get to the playoffs. Consider the cons: -No shotblocking -No consistant shooting -Too slow laterally on the wing -Broken down 'super star' -under sized -lack of good reffering after 7 freakin years on Yao -No go to closer -No chemistry -NBA 'zone' rules--Yao would have dominated pre 2000's -Betting Refs -lack of health -Alston I hope as a fan they Rockets can do well but they have a lot of chips stacked against them.

I've never lost faith.. I've always stated that in 2010 the Rockets can begin a new and get back to having a better basketball team (ala no more Tracy) and having a legit go to / finisher.. Don't lose faith people 2010 is around the corner... Just 1 1/2 more seasons to go....
I think this team is going to be broke up at the end of the year just for the sake of change. They have got to get someone in here who is going to show up on a night to night basis. McGrady is not that guy whether its due to injury or not.
The West isn't weak dude. Not like the East where a losing team will make the playoffs. At least one good team in the West won't make the playoffs and we're 2 games away from being on the bubble. There's a very real chance it could be us, especially if we continue playing like we have been the last month and a half.
